In America there are more religious groups especially from foreign countries than I had suspected. There are more Islamic members than those of Judaism and more Buddhists than Seventh Day Adventist. All religions acknowledge that God is forever and exist everywhere at all times. Oftentimes a local congregation will have the same belief in one
City, town, or country as they hand down their manner of faith and practices and these groups do not keep up with any new developing questions or reasons for what they do.
Asking questions like how or what is one way to get positive answers to your questions about another’s’ religion and will normally get conversations started rather than using the word why. People will share their experiences if they believe they are not under attack. This approach will not take away from your faith but rather will strengthen it and allow you to gain a perspective of someone else’s ideas and beliefs.
I have learned that the Jews, Islamics, and the Christian faith all believe in the Ten Commandments from their separate books of faith. It is obvious that those of Islam learned this from having the blood connection with the Jew through the fatherhood of Abraham and of course the protestant accepts the first five books of the Bible just as outlined in the Torah or Koran.
The Orthodox Jew stands true to the customs and practices of the past and adheres to passing on to the next generation without alteration those rituals that have been in effect for centuries. The Orthodox Jew uses the word for word prayers as a token of their strong adher...

...he judgment”. Everyone will die and be buried according to the Bible except those who are alive and are caught up prior to the Great Tribulation period which occurs seven years prior to the 1000 year reign of Christ as taught by the Bible.
Islam forbids idolatry, which is similar to Judaism and Christianity. Every Muslin who is sound in body is required to go to Mecca once in their lifetime. Islam followers also fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Followers of Islam believe Jesus was a prophet like Moses but not God himself.
Within the Muslin faith there are two major groups one of which is the Sunni and the other Shiite. The first Sunni emphasize adherence to fundamentals-opposition to schisms and its intolerance of dissent. Also, they hold an allegiance to Allah without any human mediator. The Shiite believe in individual leaders and in particular to Husayn son of Ali and to the right of members of that family as head of their sect. It is the official religion of Iran and accounts for about 10% of the total Muslins in the world. Their leader is also believed to be sinless. They also support temporary marriages unlike those that believe in Judaism or Christianity.
In Judaism, the holy book was known as the Torah. It is comprised of the five books in the bible. Human beings had an obligation to honor the holy text and serve God by practicing what was stated in the bible. However, in Christianity, the holy text is based on both the Old and New Testament. This bible consisted of teachings and life of Jesus. Lastly, for the Islam religion, their holy text was the Quran. The bible was inspired by God and gave many people inspiration and guidance in their lives. Thus, many people will apply what was stated in the bible to their lives to live righteously. All three religions required individuals to read their holy texts, pray, and stay faithful to
The book lays the foundation of Islamic basic beliefs and practices. Muslims believe in one God, and feel their religion continues the Judaic and Christian traditions. Arab peoples "trace their origins to the patriarch Abraham, who, according to the Koran was neither Jew nor Christian, but a kind of universal ancestor of monotheists" (5). Thus, Muslims believe in the same God as Jews and Christians.
Although distinctive religions, Islam, Judaism, and Christianity share several aspects and concepts, while differing in many principles and beliefs.
One such category is popularly referred to as "western religions", thereby differentiating the religions constituting it from "eastern religions." Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are of the three most popular religions that rest on the foundation of a single creator belief and are therefore called western religions. As these religions have the core conviction in common; the religious belief that this universe came into existence, as well as controlled and governed by one God.The significance and popularity of western religions can be determined from the fact that "Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are monotheistic faiths practiced by about half of the world's population

Although both religions believe in monotheism, Judaism is based on an absolute deity called Yahweh. The beginning of the Jewish religion and the creation of the world is told throughout the Tanakh or the Hebrew Bible. And the Jewish teachings are known as the Torah. However, the five books of Moses are taught to be the most sacred books of all the scriptures. Just like Muslims, Jews believe that there was prophets that God sent to spread his word, but they do not stand on the belief that just one prophet heard revelations. They belief that all the prophets heard them and there teachings can be found in the Bible. The Jews feel that history begins the same way as the Muslims with the creation of the world by God, but after this they tend to veer off from the Islamic beliefs. They believe that God sent “patria...
...nd interpreted him in a different way. All possessing sacred texts was a common occurrence among each religion but the importance laid upon them and the significance put forth in each one was the difference that leads to a separation between them that cannot be mended. Each religion has a set of beliefs, or values, that if broken would make the religion irrelevant. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity can never reconcile their faiths without disregarding their basis of their individual religious practice.
Every religion has its own goal, and their own path and believe to reach their goals, however there are also many similarities in believes. Although the followers of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam may see things differently, they all fundamentally hold the same values and codes. To Islam, the Prophet Mohammad’s teaching is a complete and final revelation. On the other hand, according to the bible, Christianity believes that Jesus Christ is the true lord and savior will grant you the access to heaven in the afterlife. Judaism is founded by Abraham, and it is the base from which both of the other two religions sprung. Even though the three religions differ in many areas and on many aspects, they also agree on the monotheistic, the belief in ‘One True God.’ Those religions have many similarities and a number of significant differences about God, role of women, prayer, and salvation.
The definition of religion changes all throughout the world. A neighbor, a coworker, a traveler, a student studying abroad would provide all sorts of different views and opinions on what religion means to them. It can be difficult at times to relate to other religions and provide factual information that has no bias and fully demonstrates the religion but it is important to find a common ground between factual and bias to create a better perception of what religion has to offer others. When narrowing in on three certain religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, there are similarities in beliefs or doctrines but they may symbolize for completely different things.
Each religion has a different perspective but most important is where the religions generated from. Major religions started in various parts of the world.
The religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are alike in many ways but they also share many differences. Judaism and Christianity use the bible in their holy scriptures, while Islam does not. Jesus Christ is a part of all three religions as Christianity and Islam developed from Judaism. Many believe that the three religions worship, pray to, and focus on the same god. They believe this as many of the prophets are they share much in common as they share many beliefs. However, the followers of the three religions pray differently and in different places. the religions believe that their god created the world and everything in the world. The three Abrahamic religions have different histories, yet they share many similarities and difference.

...ethics, and so forth. The crucial piece of information to remember about this religion is that they greatly emphasis unity and have a great amount of diversity. Even though it is a diverse religion, all of the Muslims are monotheistic and solely believe that Allah is the creator of everything, including humans. As a human being they believe that they are in debt to God or simply stated as according to Seyyed Hossein Nasr, “Therefore, all that we are and all that we have belongs to God for which we are indebted to Him and for whose gifts we must give thanks (shukr)” . God is the Absolute and the main point of the Islamic religion is that it is crucial to worship him and follow his commands, and that will lead to peace among everyone. This particular religion has continued to rapidly grow throughout the world and as with most religions, it will continue to grow.
Many times people got into fights, ended friendship, and even got into violence because of disagreements on matters of faith or religious. Sometimes knowing more about other religious might help people avoid confects between each other, and eventually might lead to peacefully co-living together. The most famous three religions and are also called “People of the book” are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Judaism is the oldest organized religious in the world; however, is only has 14 million followers around the world most of them center in North America. Christianity, came after Judaism and have two billion followers around the world, and that’s about one third of the world population. Finally, Islam came after Judaism and Christianity. Although
