What different religions believe

In America there are more religious groups especially from foreign countries than I had suspected. There are more Islamic members than those of Judaism and more Buddhists than Seventh Day Adventist. All religions acknowledge that God is forever and exist everywhere at all times. Oftentimes a local congregation will have the same belief in one
City, town, or country as they hand down their manner of faith and practices and these groups do not keep up with any new developing questions or reasons for what they do.

Asking questions like how or what is one way to get positive answers to your questions about another’s’ religion and will normally get conversations started rather than using the word why. People will share their experiences if they believe they are not under attack. This approach will not take away from your faith but rather will strengthen it and allow you to gain a perspective of someone else’s ideas and beliefs.

Islam forbids idolatry, which is similar to Judaism and Christianity. Every Muslin who is sound in body is required to go to Mecca once in their lifetime. Islam followers also fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Followers of Islam believe Jesus was a prophet like Moses but not God himself.

Within the Muslin faith there are two major groups one of which is the Sunni and the other Shiite. The first Sunni emphasize adherence to fundamentals-opposition to schisms and its intolerance of dissent. Also, they hold an allegiance to Allah without any human mediator. The Shiite believe in individual leaders and in particular to Husayn son of Ali and to the right of members of that family as head of their sect. It is the official religion of Iran and accounts for about 10% of the total Muslins in the world. Their leader is also believed to be sinless. They also support temporary marriages unlike those that believe in Judaism or Christianity.
