¬¬Everyone has one or more days that they think is very important to them. Some people may vary on what is their important day for them some might choose their 18th birthday because they are already treated as adults, when they get married and many more. For me the most important day of my life is when I moved from Indonesia to study and get my bachelor degree in the US. At first I was very excited because I thought I was free no parents to tell me what to do, but I realized that it is harder to live alone without parents. I am grateful that I decided to finish my education abroad and my parents let me, this is because by living alone I learn to be independent and responsible person.
In high school, I was not responsible at all I do my home
After my fruit and bread I get dressed and work in the fields. Because it is my birthday, I get to stop work early and so I get into my tublar dress and my kalasiris (my best one) and play with my friends. That day my parents told me I couldn’t go and see the wealthy but I did get a necklace and my own paint and I had a happy rest of the day.
Can you single out just one day from your past that you can honestly say changed your life forever? I know I can. It was a typical January day, with one exception; it was the day the Pope came to St. Louis. My brother and I had tickets to the youth rally, and we were both very excited. It was destined to be an awesome day- or so we thought. The glory and euphoria of the Papal visit quickly faded into a time of incredible pain and sorrow, a time from which I am still emerging.
Have you ever had the most important day of your life or the worst that has made an enormous impact on you? Well these people have also had something very a huge impact in their lives and others as well.
Everyday is a chance to do something you would have never dreamed of doing and a chance to make society a better place. That is the beautiful thing about being an American, every person has the right and the opportunity to be incredible. When I get out of bed in the morning, I make it my personal mission to take advantage of my opportunities and make the world a better place. I believe that incredible things can be done through the smallest or largest actions. Last year, I saw the impact one baseball game can have on an entire community. That event taught me that because I have the right, I have the obligation to do the things I can to improve the lives of others everyday.
I remember this day like if it was yesterday because it was the day I had to make a college decision. I had to decide if I wanted to keep studying in the states and pursue a higher and more prestige education than in Mexico, or if I wanted to go back to Mexico and rebuild relationships with my friends from home and be closer to my family. In both cases I had something to win and something I was about to sacrifice. This was probably the day I cried the most but not because I was sad. I felt overwhelmed because I had to make this enormous decision about my future on my own.
Everyone has a story, a pivotal moment in their life that started to mold them into the person they are today and may even continue to mold you to the person that you will become, I just had mine a little bit earlier than others. When I was three years old my brother became a burn survivor. It may seem too early for me to remember, but I could never forget that day. Since then, I have grown, matured and realized that what my family and I went through has been something of a benefit to be and an experience that has helped me in deciding what I want to do with the rest of my life.
A lot of people search through life trying to find something that means something to them, something life changing. I experienced my life-changing event when I was 3 years old. I was in a terrible car accident. Realistically, being 3, I do not really remember what all happened – I remember a few details though, the feeling, the pain, and my parents reactions. Their reactions were crucial in the development of my realization of this life-changing event. All through my life I grew up with this crazy thing that had happened in the past and all I had were my parents’ recollections on the events that occurred. But, youth is just kind of weird like that – you tend to hear more about what you experienced than actually remembering it. My parents really
The 31/05/2013 is a very special date for me and my husband André, it is the day our baby Kevin was born. After 12 hours of labour in the hospital, we finally heard him cry, we got to see him for the first time and there is nothing that can be compared to that feeling.
My second event was a little different. It was the event the totally changed my view of life. The unforgettable day was my wedding day. April 29th in the year 2002 was the day when I became responsible for my own life. Even though I have so many responsibilities I would never regret the moment I agreed to be my husbands wife. My wedding ceremony was the event that I dreamed of since I was a little girl. I imagined every detail of it. It was like a fairy tale wedding. I was wearing the most elegant dress in the world. There were three hundred people at the ceremony. I would never forget such a beautiful day.
First, Birthdays are very important event in people life’s , but for me it was not
Everyone has milestone days in his/her life that change the direction of his/her life for better or worse. Let me tell you one of my experiences that I will never forget from when I was 12 years old.
Throughout life we come across many people, some who influence us in negative ways, and those who influence in good ways, often changing our complete outlook on life. For me, it took the struggle of one of my best friends to open my eyes. I only wish it wasn't too late to thank her.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
Graduation was the most important day in my life. I waited for this amazing day for twelve years to reach my dream and move on to college. For most people, graduation is a memorable day. It is hard for me to forget it even after a hundred years. The day I woke up realizing it was my graduation day, I was smiling all day long knowing that I had made my family proud of me. I remember everything about my graduation day: my party, cake, dress, makeup, hair, cap and gown, and the gifts I got from family and friends.
