My story, just like everyone else’s, is like a roller coaster. My life is full of twists, turns, unexpected drops, and definitely big moments. Although sometimes I get frustrated that my life hasn’t gone the way I wanted it to, it all seems to work out in the end. My life is not nearly yet complete but I already have some pretty great stories to tell. This, is my (unfinished) story. “I never think of the future - it comes soon enough” (Albert Einstein). This quote is something that has influenced my life ever since I was young. I love this quote because when I was younger, I was always worrying about the future. But, then my step dad, Dean, told me that quote. At first I didn’t think too much of this quote, but then I got to thinking about it more, and what the actual meaning is. Like how there are a lot of things that are out of our control, and how we usually stress on things, that we have or had no control over. So, ever since my step dad told me that quote, I’ve lived my life around that and it’s part of my everyday life now. One of the biggest things that has happened to my life is my Mom going back to school. When I was about ten years old, my mom went back to school to be an anesthesiologist. This was weird, especially at the beginning because my mom always had a pretty well paying job, and I was confused about why should we leave her job. When she went back to school, she was rarely home. She was only ever doing three things. She was on the other side of the country for school, she was shadowing at the hospital, or studying for tests she had. So in term, we did not see her much.
