My story, just like everyone else’s, is like a roller coaster. My life is full of twists, turns, unexpected drops, and definitely big moments. Although sometimes I get frustrated that my life hasn’t gone the way I wanted it to, it all seems to work out in the end. My life is not nearly yet complete but I already have some pretty great stories to tell. This, is my (unfinished) story. “I never think of the future - it comes soon enough” (Albert Einstein). This quote is something that has influenced my life ever since I was young. I love this quote because when I was younger, I was always worrying about the future. I never knew what I wanted to do with my life. People were always asking me what I want to be when I grow up, or where I want to go to …show more content…
But, then my step dad, Dean, told me that quote. At first I didn’t think too much of this quote, but then I got to thinking about it more, and what the actual meaning is. Like how there are a lot of things that are out of our control, and how we usually stress on things, that we have or had no control over. So, ever since my step dad told me that quote, I’ve lived my life around that and it’s part of my everyday life now. One of the biggest things that has happened to my life is my Mom going back to school. When I was about ten years old, my mom went back to school to be an anesthesiologist. This was weird, especially at the beginning because my mom always had a pretty well paying job, and I was confused about why should we leave her job. When she went back to school, she was rarely home. She was only ever doing three things. She was on the other side of the country for school, she was shadowing at the hospital, or studying for tests she had. So in term, we did not see her much. This left my four siblings and my step dad to run the house. Since school is expensive, my step dad was usually working. One thing that should be
a quote “ If you can’t change your fate , change your attitude” which is how today
“The unexamined life is not worth living” and “Life is about the journey, not the destination.” I relate to both of this quotes because we all have purpose in our life. We plan out life to be certain way. I plan week in advance so I know what is going to happen this week, what is in plate that I have to take care of it before the time. You need to be control on your life not others. Some people just float though life. They think of their present but they don’t think for their future. They just do the stuff right now and later they will worry about other stuff. They are never ready for future outcome. Only you know how you want to live your life, it’s up to you how you want live it. As I say I plan week ahead for my classes, my work and my family. But it doesn’t always go as it planned. In life you always have to be ready to face some problem. If you live through the problems that is call living life. My dad always tells me that, if you accept the challenge, or face some bad time with smile on face, you will always come out of there and then even the big problems comes you will be ready for it. Don’t ever get nervous for the small problems. Life is made of good time and bad
“If you’re always battling against getting older, you are never going to be happy, because it will happen anyhow” (Albom, 120). This quote is from Morrie Schwartz who died from ALS. Morrie gradually learned to accept his coming death and aging so he could learn how to be happy. He also decided to share many aphorisms and lessons he learned himself to his friend and previous student, Mitch Albom. In the book Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch writes his every Tuesday meetings down and explains the lessons he learned from his former coach. Morrie teaches people to live life through showing emotions, learning how to forgive, and knowing love goes on.
I have seen this quote many times before and it has always stood out to me. It makes you rethink a lot of your choices in your life. It makes you want to go out and do something crazy. It doesn’t even have to be that but it should just inspire you to go out and experience life and all it has to offer.
"You will have bad times, but they will wake you up to the stuff you weren't paying attention to."- Robin Williams
In addition, another quote that I can go off of is “Patience is key.” When dealing with tough circumstances, I often just want to give up and call it quits. When I do not have patience and I am often short tempered and just willing to give up. I know that I wanted school to be over with very bad and just get out. Sometimes I just had to stop and take a breather and remember that not everything is going to work out the first time the way I want it to. I realized that if I master patience, I can take on everything with confidence. When I am patient, it helps me to look at things in another perspective. Patience may seem easy ;however, it is easier said than done. Like I said with time, I wish the trials could just hurry up and pass by because I just wanted them to be over and done with. Since I learned to be more accepting, they do not affect me as bad now. I saw that everything is going to be fine as long as I am
I like this quote because it tells us the change in where humans think everything is good but once a modification is made everything can change. When that certain change is made, it can be painful depending on how you and mind handles it.
Winston Churchill delivers meaningful quotes to his audience intended to convey them to have fate in their own lives. Winston Churchill states in this meaningful quote saying the importance of remaining strong throughout the troubles of life. there is no way that someone can make it through hardships of life without being strong and independent."We are still masters of our fate. We are still captains of our own souls." Winston expresses that we as people are responsible for what we ourselves are doing, that each individual person is able to control themselves, and not let others bring us down. This quote teaches me that I am able to make big decisions and have bigger fate in myself because I am the one responsible for what goes on in my life.
This quote resonates a lot with me because, although I am not naturally very comfortable with change, (mainly because they alter my many, many well-made plans), I believe I would be very bored if I felt like my life was not progressing forward. I have learned to embrace change and see it only as a positive.
“Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.”
"Put your heart mind and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret to success."
This quote is so true because if your not determined or do not follow your dreams then you won’t get anywhere. If your not determined your dreams won’t come true.
...d be a decent idea if I concluded it, which is: “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them” (Maya Angelou, A.G., 2008, Letter to my Daughter).
Watch your thoughts, they become your words; Watch your words; they become your actions; Watch your actions; they become your habits; Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
Every morning when I wake up, I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, and pain. To feel to freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices. Today I chose life and not to deny my humanity, but embrace it. This a quote from Kevyn Aucoin. I miss my grandpa every day, but I have to keep moving on and get my education. To have faith does not mean you get any less frustrated when you do not do your best. You know that it is not life or death. When you continue to work hard, you will see results. That will give you the confidence you need to keep going" this is a quote by Tom Lehman. In these dangerous times, where it seems the world is ripping apart at the seams, we can all learn how to survive from those who stare death squarely in the face should reach out to each other and bond as a community, rather than hide from the terrors of the millennium. My grandpa was a big part of why I am who I am. He met not be gone, but I will never forget
