Why do people think that it’s okay to take children and have them work for hours and hours? Do they not know that children have lives of their own that they would like to enjoy. Do they know that children needs their education and don’t have time to be worrying about jobs, especially at the ages they already are. What are the parents doing about it? Why do the bosses even allow themselves to even put the children at risk? Do they not like children? So, if you’re like me and wanted to know what is child labor, I’m here to tell you. Child Labor is work that harms children. It keeps children from attending school, and doing illegal activities that they shouldn’t be doing.

What is Child Labor?

Child labor is the use of children in an industry or business when doing illegal inhumane activities. Child Labor also keeps children from attending school, work that harms children, and doing illegal activities that they shouldn’t be doing.

What is the purpose of child labor?

The specific purpose of child labor laws is to safeguard children against harm generally dealing with child labor, such as exposure to hazardous, unsanitary, or bad conditions, and overwork. Child labor legislation mainly applies to business work, but in some states nonprofit activities are within the law.

The History of Child Labor

The history of child labor was very common. In the previous industries, it was okay for children to work with their parents to get more food, tend the animals, and do different tasks. While the Industrial Revolution was going on, the children were always put to work either in the factories or mines, often in strong harmful conditions. ...ong hours as if they were adults. Their owners will use them as shields to protect them or as soldiers. A lot of kids are losing education because of child laboring. They also will have bad health problems because of where they’re working at. Child labor isn’t some that should be talked about in a funny way, it should be stopped.
