What Does Real Steel's Breakdown?

Does Real Steel deserve a seven out of ten score on IMDB, or is it an atrocious disaster that never should have gotten an Oscar nomination? Most plot devices in Real Steel do a poor job of entertaining any person over the age of ten, while simultaneously leaving dull and predictable actions that ruin the watching experience. Real Steel by Shawn Levy is a movie that people should not spend time watching, for the reason that it has a bad plot, illogical character dialog, as well as a non-satisfactory ending. Throughout the film, Real Steel shows poor plot progression with predictable actions, dialog between characters that is totally irrational, and displays an ending that is not only predictable, but is disappointing to any viewers. Real Steel’s plot has a copious amount of holes in it, resulting in it being exceedingly predictable. In the movie the main character, Charlie, is using giant fighting robots to box with other robots to then win money. In the first fight Charlie is overconfident and loses the fight. When Charlie offers to Max a chance at a fight that he has been wanting for the entire movie, Max is ecstatic, but nevertheless when the fight happens, they get close to winning, but then lose at the last second to the undefeated champion. This ending makes viewers disappointed in that Charlie and Max were unable to finish what they came for. The writers tried to create a situation similar to Rocky(Avildsen, 1976) in which the fight shows how far The two of them have come, but rather they show a failed battle with lackluster cheering followed by rolling the credits. Viewers are led further into thinking the movie is poorly developed, as there is a strong lack of real emotions in the final scenes, hence the plot doesn’t lead to a satisfactory
