When we think of the word integrity, we often fall short on what it means to live a life with integrity. Mainly because it’s not a word we often use in our daily conversations. We might hear it be mentioned here and there, but do we know what integrity really means? Integrity is defined as: “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.” Based on this definition, we can determine that an important principle of integrity is honesty. Honesty and integrity together are both a quality that can be seen as not only favorable, but pleasing in God’s eyes.

God sets the tone to show us that by simply obeying Him, His glory will bestowed upon us. When choosing integrity, we allow for His grace to surround us because we have chosen what in His eyes is favorable. Also, In Proverbs 2:6-8, it says, “6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; 8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.” This too, is also a promise God gives.
