In today’s society, technology is a huge trend and has become a part of our everyday activity some would even say we are living in a "technological Era." From high-tech cars to 3-D printers, new inventions are created every day. Today 's generation are much more fortunate, than those who have come before us, especially with the use of technology and information, we have than someone who was around fifty years ago and so often its repeated by older folks who would state, “We didn 't have that back in my day." It is hard to imagine that in 20 years, the technology we have today will probably be entirely obsolete. Students who don’t have their own technology in place at home may be left behind when in comparison to their more affluent counterparts who do have adequate technology in place at home, as a technological dependency in the classroom by well mean that the same forms of technology are needed to complete their homework to the right standard outside of the classroom environment. Children should not be penalized because of the equipment they have, and academically gifted children should not be left behind for no other reason but what technology they have. The expanding market for mobile applications can also be attributed to the increased use of technology. Apps allow for a wide range of useful tools -- from note taking, flashcards, specialized searches and task lists. When information is available at your fingertips; from checking a term or calculating your GPA. In “the old days” a high school diploma was a great accomplishment, and qualified you for a job. In this day and age the high school diploma jobs are considered low class. Education is changing to adapt with the changing world.
