Currently, my lifetime goals are to finish high school with excellent grades, attend Texas A&M university with a degree in Construction Science or Industrial Distribution, work at Pine Cove Christian camp as a camp counselor at least one or two summers, get an interesting internship, land a satisfying first job with a reputable company, and then start my own business. In my personal life, I want to marry the girl of my dreams and start a family. I want my wife and I to raise our children in a positive, happy, Christian environment attending magnitudes of Aggie football games. Meanwhile, always keeping my focus on my faith and creator. I am an active member going on 3 years. Young life is an organization that teaches high school kids about Jesus Christ and creates a fun non-threatening environment where kids can be themselves. I attended the two Young life camps in Colorado, Frontier Ranch and Wilderness Ranch. Both were amazing adventures. Young life will help in every aspect of my lifetime goals. Without a focus on Christ in my personal and professional life, there is no purpose. I feel extremely lucky to have grown up in an incredible school district, to receive an award winning education, and have the opportunities to experience such positive extracurricular activities. I have been blessed with supportive parents who have provided for me spiritually, financially and emotionally. My primary goal for going to school is to get my education so I can have a brighter future and make an impact in my community. When I go to school, I want to major in biology and obtain my bachelor's degree. After I have received my bachelor's degree, I want to start my graduate studies in medical school. My life experiences thus far bring the best of both worlds to my education and career goals; a student coupled with a variety of life experiences. Being a newly graduated non-traditional student, mother of school-aged children, and experience working with students in the classroom, I bring diversity to your program. Through personal analysis and efforts with other professionals, I have overcome early childhood tragedies. Desiring to make the best use of my experiences by helping others to overcome trauma, and insecure upbringings by conquering these adversities and circumstances positively. My only life time ambition I have for myself is to be able to help each and every individual who comes my way needing help, becoming a social worker, a foster mom, and to adopt a child with Down Sydrome. I know and understand that my dreams might be a bit over my head for the average person, but I will accomplish them. At the end of my life when I am old, have gray hair, and my eye sight is even worse that it is now, I want to look back at my life knowing I was able to help everyone I possibly could.
I had an absolute blast being a library assistant and felt like every time I sorted books, helped put on puppet shows, or organized the book shelves, I was directly helping others to enjoy exploring the world of reading. The thought that I was touching on a book that might make a child fall in love with reading made me ecstatic and loved knowing that I could demonstrate to others the adventures found in the library through my time. In ninth grade, I began to participate in my school’s Young Life ministry program and soon started volunteering as a student leader to increase my efforts to reach out and love others at my school. As a student leader, I have helped lead small groups, been a campaigner for Bible studies, and have gone to Young Life’s camp at Lake Champion to help lead the younger students. Through my words of encouragement and actions to put my friends first, I have absolutely loved seeing the joy and excitement that they have experienced through Young Life.
After doing the developmental plan of my personal goal, I felt that this was an eye opener for me. I always have a plan just like a bucket list, but went I started writing out each topic of my personal goals and thought everything out it gave me a clear vision of what my goal really meant to me. I have this quote printed out and on the wall next to my door so I can see it every day as a reminder to myself. I believe that we all have a purpose on this earth and that everything we go through on the journey there has a reason whether to teach a lesson or set an example. We have places where we want to end up and goals we want to achieve. We set these goals and dreams to help us fulfill the purpose we see for ourselves. Quite honestly, I feel lucky. I feel lucky that I matured early in life; with this new maturity I feel I can accomplish anything. I feel I can make a positive difference in this world. I feel like this experience will be the primary step in my success, in terms of my career, and in the launch of my Children in Need campaign in third world countries. I feel like the young superman who just learned how to fly, slightly aware of his magnificent impact on the world.

My goals here at Colorado Christian University are important to me because I what to accomplish my degree here. I love the fact that you are a Christian school and my number one goal is to get my degree in Biblical Studies to further the gift that I have and to draw closer to God. I would like to get more knowledge of what God wants me to do with my gift and to further my education to become a pastor when I am done. There are other goals that I have such as being able to purchase my family a nice home and by also ministering to lost souls out there as well. I want to start a homeless ministry with my wife so we can do Gods will and help people draw closer to God.
College is the main goal of my life. It is a life dream to go to college to get a degree and get a successful job. Everything that I have done until this point is to get to college. During my senior year I plan to apply to many colleges and to take the SAT's to get into college. My GPA and SAT scores will be crucial for me to get into college. With college I will further my business career, making more successful in the field I enjoy doing.

When planning for our future it is important to have clear goals in mind and to understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve those goals. My long-term goal is to run my own counseling center and employee at least one other person. Some Skills I already possess that will allow me to succeed with this plan are my ability to relate to people and be consistent in following the steps needed, even though it will be a long and tedious process.
Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well. Becoming a pharmacist is also a very important goal because I want stability in my job so that I can raise my family without major money issues. I also think it is very important for people to be healthy so that job would allow me to provide health care.
Achieving any goal requires self-discipline. It involves a conscious awareness of our actions and the ability to overcome some of the bad habits that might be holding us. Instilling self- discipline into our lives is not easy task.
