Police were requested to meet Joshua Ziegler on the 300 Block West Arlington Street. When we arrived the Ziegler said he made an argreement with another male (Chris Johnson) that he would give him an engine for a motorcycle he had as long as he'd fix his motorcycle. Chris agreed to the agreement and took the motorcycle which needed fixed and the motorcycle engine which he wanted. This agreement took place approximatelyTwo and One-Half years ago. Since the agreement Chris has not fixed his motorcycle and refuses to give him the engine back that he received as part of the agreement. When I spoke with Chris Johnson he said Ziegler found the engine in the woods near the "Shen Penn," so the engine isn't technically his. Johnson claims the engine
The police responded to a tip that a home was being used to sell drugs. When they arrived at the home, Gant answered the door and stated that he expected the owner to return home later. The officers left and did a record check of Gant and found that his driver’s license had been suspended and there was a warrant for his arrest. The officers returned to the house later that evening and Gant wasn’t there. Gant returned shortly and was recognized by officers. He parked at the end of the driveway and exited his vehicle and was placed under arrest 10 feet from his car and was placed in the back of the squad car immediately. After Gant was secured, two officers searched his car and found a gun and a bag of cocaine.

When people think of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, they think of crime and violence within the neighborhood. I myself have thought this about Bedford Stuyvesant before I did research and actually visited the neighborhood for myself. Bedford Stuyvesant in my opinion, has two different sides. The side the media portrays to us, the people, and the side people who actually visit/live in the neighborhood see for themselves. My visual representation above shows the two different sides of Bedford Stuyvesant. The first image shows the typical view of what people think of when they think of Bedford Stuyvesant, the projects. When people think of this neighborhood, they think of project buildings housing low income black families. The media portrays Bedford Stuyvesant as a
Denison, Texas has been called “Katy’s Baby,” the “Gateway City,” and the “Infant wonder” (“History of Denison”). Every name mentioned is an accurate description of the ever changing Main Street in Denison, Texas. Main Street has adapted to modifications for well over 100 years. Main Street has transformed, developed, faded and reinvented itself, all while maintaining vastly needed improvements. Denison’s Main Street is known for numerous historical events from the past, present and hopefully the future.

With the rapid development of the city and tremendous progress of technology in America, gentrification becomes a universal phenomenon in every city, especially in Englewood―the south side of Chicago. As capital begins to flow into the Englewood community, many aspects of daily life are changed for better. The tremendous change brings not only the renovated facilities but arrives with the new retail and service business. Plenty of citizens who live in the Englewood community were benefiting from the gentrification. They also said that gentrification is a commendable change in Englewood to renew and develop. Thus, gentrification is beneficial to local residents because it arrives with the new retail and service business, increases employment opportunities and transform a more beautiful community.

There are many examples of cities reforming itself over time, one significant example is Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. More than a hundred years after the discovery of gold that drew thousands of migrants to Vancouver, the city has changed a lot, and so does one of its oldest community: Downtown Eastside. Began as a small town for workers that migrants frequently, after these workers moved away with all the money they have made, Downtown Eastside faced many hardships and changes. As a city, Vancouver gave much support to improve the area’s living quality and economics, known as a process called gentrification. But is this process really benefiting everyone living in Downtown Eastside? The answer is no. Gentrification towards DTES(Downtown Eastside) did not benefit the all the inhabitants of the area. Reasons are the new rent price of the area is much higher than before the gentrification, new businesses are not community-minded, and the old culture and lifestyle of the DTES is getting erased by the new residents.
The South Bronx, New York City: another northern portrait of racial divide that naturally occurred in the span of less than a century, or a gradual, but systematic reformation based on the mistaken ideology of white supremacy? A quick glance through contemporary articles on The Bronx borough convey a continuation of less-than-ideal conditions, though recently politicians and city planners have begun to take a renewed interest in revitalizing the Bronx. (HU, NYT) Some common conceptions of the Bronx remain less than satisfactory—indeed, some will still express fear or disgust, while some others have expressed the fundamentally incorrect racial ideas studied here—but others recall the Bronx with fondness, calling it a once “boring” and “secure” neighborhood.(BRONX HIST JOURNAL, p. 1) What are we to do with such radically different accounts between The Bronx of yesterday, and the impoverished borough of today? If we speak in known, contemporary cultural stereotypes, then segregation is strictly a Southern design, but natural otherwise—but to record this as a natural occurrence, no different than a seasonal change or day turning to night, would be to ignore the underlying problem. The changing role of white Americans from majority to population minority in the Bronx, coupled with the borough’s title of “poorest urban county in America” (as of 2012), is the result of careful orchestration and a repeating story of economic and political gain superseding civil rights. (GONZALES, BRONX) (BRONX HIST JOURN, HARD KNOCKS IN BRONX @ poorest note ) It is not coincidence.
Shelby Givens, the general manager of Westlake Bowling Lanes, after having brought back some of Westlake’s profitability in her 9-month tenure by reducing 8.5% of cost and raising prices of service, now is concerning how to convince the board members- Given’s uncle and two family friends-to support one of her bold strategies for expending the business and how to ensure the board their personal investments will be repaid on time.
Regarding the potential special assessment for a legal defense of the neighborhood, I believe some of what has transpired has been, at best, embarrassing and counter-productive, and, at worst, has redoubled the confidence of proven bullies while disrespecting the importance of being truthful with all residents.
The Azusa Street revival of 1906 to 1909 was an event that popularised the practice of charismatic worship first in the United States and eventually throughout the Christian world. However, representations of the revival in the early years of the 20th century were biased, and distorted the events that occurred. Early believers portrayed the revival as an eschatological narrative in which the power of God came down to earth and revolutionised the church, especially with the gift of tongues. Pentecostal historians later mythologised Azusa Street representing the revival as the birthplace of Pentecostalism. On the other hand, conservatives portrayed the events of the revival as unbiblical and sinful, while secular critics depicted the revival as a phenomenon which was irrational and defied human logic.
On the 14th of October 2017, I was asked by Miss Felicia McDonald at about 0900hrs to move to 613 for an investigative interview. During the interview, I was informed by Miss McDonald that the investigative interview was based on my failure to follow instruction on the 13th of October, 2017, an instruction that was given by Mr. Kenny Sanders, a 204B. After reading Mr. Sander's statement, I proceeded to inform Miss McDonald that the statement was false has the statement does not reflect what I told Mr. Sanders when I called my Cell phone nor did it reflect what I told him when he came to meet me on the route. Further, I informed Miss McDonald that on that day, I received a call from Mr. Sanders stating that he was instructed to bring me a Pivot off Route 706 hence he needed to know my location so he can bring the Pivot to me.
