We Are Technologically Dependent

Technology in the 21st century has grown rapidly and is still growing. More technological devices means more people will become dependent on technology. Technology is amazing but people should know when they are using or depending on it. Whenever someone does not know an answer to something they just Google the answer instead of researching more deeply by asking people with experience or doing book research. They just trust people on the internet that are assumed to know the answer, but there is no way for us to know. Lack of memorization has been becoming more common. People do not do as much of an effort to memorize facts because we have some kind of technological device to which we can go whenever we forget something. Technology also causes a distraction for everyone. As technology advances we revert.

Technology is revolutionizing really fast as the years passed by. Technology started off with a calculator in the 2400 BC. Now the whole world uses technology. Everyone seems as if they cannot live without technology in their life. It seems that the first invention of society was the wheel is what led us to the technological society we live in today. Technology has come a long way from the first inventions like the cotton gin, since that day people worked less meaning that people were beginning to be lazy since the machine did the job for them. Also the invention of the telephone it made communication easier for long distance and because of that now majority of people prefer to talk over the phone or text then go talk to the person face to face. No matter what kind of relationship it is they prefer not talking face to face. For example a family does not have much connection if they only communicate through a phone

Adults do not realize that too much technology is bad for them and their kids. Kids can find anything on the internet, which can easily expose them to sex at a young age when they are supposed learn to about it when they are older and mature. Many may say “Oh well they just learned it at younger age no matter they were going to learn about it later anyways”, but they do not see that the kids are going to want to try it without actually knowing the consequences and the responsibility that comes with it.
