The design that I have made for my rocket is tall and somewhat fat because I used two 2 liter soda bottles for the entire rocket. Also, I used two 2.63 liter tea bottles to combine the two 2 liter soda bottles and to make the outer shell to surround the egg and the placement of the parachute. It is quite simple, with very few to no decorations such as the fins because I want to keep the weight of the rocket the same and not add even more mass into it. Adding a parachute to the rocket would help its landing more secure and safer because it would slow down as it goes down from the sky, which would increase the friction of the rocket slowly. Putting a lot of cotton to surround the egg and putting it inside would make the egg more secure because there won’t be any hazard once it causes an impact when it hits the ground. Also, it would decrease the area of the egg, which would decrease the pressure on the egg a little. I chose to increase the mass between two bottles because I want the bottle to land from its bottom and vertically, not from its top nor move sideways when landing. I decided to make a parachute to increase the friction slowly as it goes down, which is the thermal energy from the air to make the rocket land safely and smoothly. To decrease the pressure on the egg, I decided to put cotton to decrease the force and lower the chance of cracking. For the force to be affected, the acceleration must be lower or higher than the mass of an object. To decrease the pressure of the egg, I increase the area of the force of the egg by putting it inside the bottle to have more space on its side. If the egg never survive and cracked, some modifications that I would make to help the egg survive next time are to make a more sturdy outer shell that surrounds the egg while it is inside the bottle and even more cotton and better materials to use for the cushioning for the egg. These modifications would help the egg to survive because if the outer shell that surrounds the egg as it sits inside the bottle is sturdier than before and stronger, and then the impact of the ground would not have a huge effect on the outer shell. If the outer shell is strong, the egg will not feel any impact as it drops to the ground and it will not break or do any damages.

Ever since I was little I was amazed at the ability for a machine to fly. I have always wanted to explore ideas of flight and be able to actually fly. I think I may have found my childhood fantasy in the world of aeronautical engineering. The object of my paper is to give me more insight on my future career as an aeronautical engineer. This paper was also to give me ideas of the physics of flight and be to apply those physics of flight to compete in a high school competition.
Our rocket was fairly decent the only problems were that the wings were not completely stable. Our egg survived in the capsule we built and one other egg even survived with out being in a capsule at all.

Personal Watercrafts or "jet skis" are basically Personal Watercraft (PWC) are basically small inboard boats able to travel at high speeds due to large amounts of power and very light weight. Alomst all PWC's are under 600 lbs and most of todays PWC's have at least 90 hp.Not only are PWC's some of the fastest water vehicles they are also some of the most maneuverable water vehicles. This is because PWC's propultion is based on a jet that also is it's turning mechanism. When the driver turns the handlebars the jet (via cables) turns in the direction of the handlebars so the stern is pushed in the opposite direction. This allows the driver to turn at a much tighter angle than traditional boats with keels and rudders.The main drawback to this maneuverability is the fact that if there is no thrust coming from the engine the ability to turn is effictively zero meaning that anytime the driver presses the kill switch (a large red button) they lose all ability to steer. This is extremely dangerous whenever an inexperienced person may drive the PWC back to dock or into shore. PWC's have no brakes and have no ablilty to stop other than turning around. They have an extremely efficient ability to hydroplane (when most of the PWC is above water) and it takes most PWC's a few hundred feet to come to a stop after being at full throttle. This is because 600 lbs + a rider is traveling at a very high speed with only minimal friction to slow them down (since PWC's are made to travel with very little friction).

There are many different ways in which physics aids the flight of an aircraft. In the following few paragraphs some of the many ways will be described so that you, the reader, will realize physics at work in the world of flight.
My experiment was if an egg was changed by cooking or freezing it will it affect how far it would fly. So I did the tests and my hypothesis was wrong. The frozen egg did not fly the furthest, the raw egg did. The raw egg every time went about 1-2 feet more than the frozen egg did. I think this is because when I froze the egg it gained weight and the raw egg stayed the same. This was enough to make the frozen egg not go as far. In fact the frozen egg flew the least amount of distance except for on the first launch where it came in second. This Experiment change but modified to be more exact by moving it into an indoor facility. This will help with not having to deal with wind or any other weather conditions.
In the documentary, Blue Gold: World Water Wars, it follows several people and countries world-wide in their fight for fresh water. The film exposes giant corporations as they bully poorer developing countries to privatize their own supply of fresh water. As a result of the privatization, corporations make a hefty profit while the developing countries remain poor. Blue Gold: World Water Wars also highlights the fact that Wall Street investors are going after the desalination process and mass water export schemes. This documentary also shows how people in more developed nations are treating the water with much disregard, and not taking care of our finite supply. We are polluting, damming, and simply wasting our restricted supply of fresh water at an alarming speed. The movie also recognizes that our quick overdevelopment of housing and agriculture puts a large strain on our water supply and it results in desertification throughout the entire earth. The film shows how people in more industrialized nations typically take water for granted, while others in less industrialized nations have to fight for every drop.
Many differing opinions exist on what needs to be done about our current status of conserving energy and conserving our environment. With increased gas prices and energy costs, consumers are more aware of what benefits are available and the methods of obtaining them. The introduction of hydropower has been a major step for some, while a stumbling back for others. Advocates for hydropower have provided much information about the many benefits that we reap from using hydroelectric dams. Environmental activists denounce the many negatives that are created by the numerous dams located throughout the United States as well as other countries. Both sides present valid arguments and need to be addressed in order to fully understand the complex social, biological, political, and economic pros and cons.
There are three safety features in the egg project. The three safety features are seat belts, brakes, and airbags. The seat belts are made out of tape. The seat belts put pressure on the passenger. This means that it will keep the passenger inside the car instead of flying out and getting injured. The airbags are made out of bubble wrap. The bubble wrap will have a huge impact on the area of the passenger. It is like a soft cushion. This protects the passenger from hitting the passenger. The passenger will get hurt by the airbag, but not as much without one. If there wasn’t an airbag in a car, people would be getting into a second collision. Also, hydropower is not subject to market fluctuations of embargos, and the average lifespan of a facility is 100 years. Hydropower also has many non-energy benefits such as water supply, flood control, navigation, irrigation, and recreation.
