Cassius was the least honorable character of Julius Caesar, because he operates purely on self-interest. Cassius has been just one of those people that wants things he won't be able to get. Cassius wants strength, power and he also knows that he'll never get it because Caesar is around and Caesar obviously don't like him. He knows Brutus’ frailty and exploits them too trick Brutus into thinking Caesar needs to die for the good of Rome. Cassius was hurt because he took Brutus in as if he were a son. Cassius also believes that the nobility of Rome are responsible for the government of Rome.

Cassius is a least honorable man because he is jealous that Caesar has the power and he doesn't. He is trying to have a Brutus plot in killing him because he's mad and fiercely dislikes Caesar. Cassius knows that if he and his associates conspire against the popular and beloved Caesar, the Roman people will respond with rage and violence. Cassius was once friends with Julius Caesar, but as he knows Caesar has the power and he doesn't. Cassius is very upset that he's giving a variety of reasons that Brutus should kill him. Cassius wants Brutus to join him so he can be on the Cassius side so that Cassius can have Brutus kill Caesar. He was very jealous of Caesar and he wanted to kill him,but had a Brutus plot for him. The whole time, Cassius was lying to Brutus because he just wanted Brutus to kill him. He's very contemptuous towards a lot of people. Cassius was most definitely deceitful of his friends because of what he wanted. He was fake to his people and I wouldn't want to be friends with someone that is dishonest fake and disrespectful towards a lot of people. Cassius sadly killed himself with the same dagger he manipulates against
