Was the 35th President of the United States John F. Kennedy’s assassination justified? Some will say it was and others will say the opposite. His assassination was justified. Why? For one, we never got to find out if the man arrested, Lee Harvey Oswald, actually committed the crime. Two, what did Kennedy ever do to Oswald to that he deserved to be killed? Third, murder is never justified.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 during a motorcade. Kennedy was a very well liked President and an easy person to like. He had many notable events during his presidency including, the Cuban Missile Crisis, initiating Project Apollo, the African-American Civil Rights Movement, and he increased US involvement in the Vietnam war. Two days after he was shot the police arrested a man named Lee Harvey Oswald. They strongly believe he was the man responsible. Oswald never made it to his trial though. He never made it because a man named Jack Ruby shot him. Ruby was a nightclub owner in Dallas and a normal man. So why did he shoot Oswald? First, even though most everyone knows and thinks that Lee Harvey Oswald killed the President, there is no factual proof. The police were never able to actually question Oswald because Jack Ruby killed him just a few days before his trial. Supposedly Ruby shot Oswald because he was made at him for shooting the president, but that is not concrete. There is only speculation that Oswald was the man responsible for Kennedy’s assassination.
