In 1990, on a delayed train journey from Manchester to London kings cross, JK Rowling conceived the idea of Harry Potter. Little did she know that this young wizard, who was introducing us to the wizarding world, would spark a nationwide frenzy and would eventually turn into seven books and eight screenplays. Over the next five years, she began to map out all seven books of the series and published the first one the Philosophers stone in 1997. The studio allows you to have a behind the scene tour of the sets (the original ones!), costumes, props and it shows you how Quidditch was really filmed. Once you’ve arrived at Warner Bros, collected your ticket and watched the introduction to the studio, the magic becomes reality as you set foot through the great hall doors. The great hall displays the individual houses with their uniforms and at the very far end is the teacher's table. As the guide tells you more about the set and the history behind some of the embellishments, it starts to sink in that you’re standing in the actual great hall that was used for filming. After looking around the great hall, you can have a look at the different costumes that were worn by the actors and the masks and special effect makeup that had to be handmade to fit the individual actor- it's amazing! For a Harry Potter fan, it's amazing to see how their favorite characters were brought to life from the books to the big screen with the help of hundreds of costumes and makeup pieces specifically made for them. But even for someone who isn’t a harry potter fan, it is still fascinating to be able to see how things are done behind the

This past March I visited Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida for the first time in years. As all things, it has changed drastically over time. Some rides remained the same, but others not so much. Universal Studios is a magical place to begin with, but add in two separate Wizard Worlds and you’ll be begging for more. As I have grown, I was never interest in Harry Potter; however, after only one day running through the Wizard World I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the books and movies. First, I dove into Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. Then, to complete the first pieces in the series, I watched Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone directed by Chris Columbus. Both pieces were exceptional and I enjoyed both; however, I believe the movie is slightly better.
Jesse Warner was born in San Diego on April 18, 1993, just the same as all the other babies born that day at Hawthorne Medical Center. He was born into an upper-middle class family, one that went to the Methodist church every Sunday and both parents were well-respected in their fields. If you were to read this book and watch the movie you would find many differences, but the main difference between the two is that the book gives more information to the reader than the movie gives to the viewer. If someone was to watch the movie instead of reading the book, that person would not be able to have an accurate perception of the book because so many things in the book are changed in the movie or parts are left out of the movie completely. This is mainly because the book has more characters and chapters, which are able to keep the reader informed and interested. However, the most recent remake Annie (2014) directed by Will Gluck, written by Aline Brosh Mckenna, starring Will Smith, Quevenzhane Wallis, and Cameron Diaz, was actually quite a disappointment compared with Annie (1982) written by Carol Sobieski and Thomas Meehan, starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney and Carol Burnett. Although it was a nice movie, Annie (2014) failed to contain key connections and details with Annie (1982) to make it a better movie. Both films portray the story of the "orphaned Annie" but Will Gluck's version just didn’t line up as far as the main characters, Annie's well known traits and characteristics,
