When living in a world today with many different religions and believes it is hard for one to understand how these could go hand in hand with business. All of these play an effect on business. For example, how will a situation be handled in a business environment when dealing with various religious people? When trying to communicate in the business world it is important to have the same universal concept of communication in all civilizations throughout each community. Sam stated that, “Innovative thinking. Leadership through service. And above all, an unwavering commitment to saving people money. It’s what makes us the business we are today, and shapes the company we will be tomorrow”(). The rich get richer and the poor get poorer is something that is commonly taught as a basis of Americas living society. Walmart has made its system to be able to not only be accessible by the rich but also by the poor. They are one of the few companies that is able to capture both niches. Walton also stated, “This rich heritage defines who we are and what we do today” explaining that he was knowledgeable how the rich controls everything(). It is important to understand how even Walmart has found a way to meet the needs of all people in different living situations. The original mission statement that everyone is familiar with is, "saving people money so they can live better" this is the motor and drives everything they do(). This statement was formed off of what Sam Walton had been taught for so many years and seeing the real side of business. Working together is another main concept that is relayed constantly in all Walmart’s, “If we work together, we'll lower the cost of living for everyone...we'll give the world an opportunity to see what it's like to save and have a better life”(). Walmart has made it a necessity to have a strong frontline that is focused and ready to help, serve, and support its pears to help meet customer needs. Respect for an individual can go a long way. Walmart expects all workers and customers to treat others the wat they would want to be treated. “Lead by example, be humble, teach and trust others to do their jobs, give honest and direct feedback”(). Walmart always strives for greatness and is able to still perform at the highest level of all the family grocery
