The differences between a victim and a creator is the level of responsibility. A victim prefers to blame other because they don’t want to take responsibility for the mistakes that they made. An example of a victim uses defender strategies. For example, when you are failing a class, and you just give up and stop trying and instead of working harder you blame the teacher or other people, and then you start saying things like “ that teacher sucks at teaching”, and you just start saying negative thing of other people and sometimes yourself, sometimes you even critisize yourself and thats the inner critic mindset. Victimology is the scientific study of the physical, emotional, and financial harm people suffer from illegal activities. A common struggle Victimologists face is determining who the victim is. In general, crimes don 't have an “ideal victim”. The term ideal victims refer to someone who receives the most sympathy from society (Christie, 2016). An example of this would be a hardworking, honest man who on his way to work, had his wallet taken by force. Most people in society would have sympathy for him. He spent his life making an honest living to earn what he has and was a victim of a robbery. Playing the victim in various situations is far from difficult. Victims have a tendency to sit back and watch their life fall to pieces. A victim is someone who blames others that predict defeat and also gives up. When her first answer did not lead her to her goal, she asked the question again, and again, until she finally achieved her goal.” (David Marman) This person pertained to a creator because she thought of ways to achieve her goal instead of blaming others for the situation. The idea of the creator and victim was coined by Dr. Skip Downing. If you think like a creator, you can succeed in anything. If I think like a creator, I can accomplish my goals of succeeding in college, along with succeeding in life as well.
Often the actions of children are reflective of the attitudes of those who raised them. In the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, Dr. Victor Frankenstein is the sole being that can take responsibility for the creature that he has created, as he is the only one that had any part in bringing it into being. While the actions of the creation are the ones that are the illegal and deadly their roots are traced back to the flaws of Frankenstein as a creator.

Instead of calmly trying to reason with the Creature, Victor lashes back at the Creature. He even suggests that the two "try their strength in a fight in which one must fall." (Shelley 69) The monster, however, maturely and eloquently urges Victor 's "compassion to be moved" (Shelley69). Because Victor is full of "rage and horror" he wants to destroy his own creation even though victor is playing god in recreation of humanity. After 42 long days the Tucson bus strike ended with a new contract to the union member. During this time period members of the Tuscon community conducted their own fair strike. People walked on the bus and refused to pay for their ride. On a normal scale this would be considered a “misbehavior” or a “deviant” act. However, the book links conduct misbehavior as an analytic category and not an empirical one. Therefore, it is the context of the misbehavior will influence whether it will be determined as a deviant act or develop into a social moment. When comparing an individual’s misconduct to a collective group, you can look at the collective group doing the same act and it can be considered a social movement. Begone!” (130) In this senseless refusal of a sincere request, Victor proves once and for all that his true feelings for the monster are those of unjustified hatred and scorn. He has no basis for these feelings other than that of his undying prejudice against the monster. As a result of the opposing emotions illustrated by maker and creation, both are in constant conflict with each other and therefore can never live in harmony.
When people fight, they usually do so under the premise that their enemy has done something wrong. Whether or not the fighters are under a false premise, both parties know why they are fighting and why their enemy is fighting back. They are partaking in reciprocated violence; both parties are accusing the other of committing wrong against them. However, not all cases of violence are reciprocal. Some are unilateral, in which a large majority group is attacking a smaller group or person. One example of unilateral violence would be the act of scapegoating, when a group puts a minority at fault for their own troubles or mistakes. The practice of scapegoating has Biblical origins but has likely been used in prehistoric societies and it still lives on today.

Child Maltreatment can be discerned through physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional/psychological abuse. This type of maltreatment can be in the form of physical punishment, molestation, and neglect. The implication of child maltreatment is the ability to transfer into intimate partner violence as the victim grows older.

I think that there is a difference between the term victim precipitation and victim blaming but it is easy to blur those lines. Victim precipitation is not necessarily blaming the victim for the crime they were a victim of but merely looking at how their actions influenced or provided the opportunity for the crime. In some crimes such as homicide this may be possibly used as a mitigation circumstance for the offender. For example: if someone is a victim of homicide because they attacked another and then were killed while the second party was defending themselves this would be a mitigating circumstance for the offender.
