In this assignment I am going to assess how the social context may influence the ability of health education campaigns to change behaviour in relation to health. Health education is described as any activity promoting health related learning which can help bring about changes in the thinking or behaviour of individuals. The main purpose of this is to improve the health of people. There are different approaches to health. These approaches all have different explanations and focuses on health of people. Therefore it makes it unavoidable for some children and young people in families to be affected by dental decay. Young people are thought how to put on contraception in the first year of secondary school and so the responsibility of teenage pregnancy is the individual. This view held by the victim blaming model again has weakness to it. It is because in the case of teenage pregnancy. There may be lack of knowledge in some groups of people for example in some families the discussion of sexual topics is unacceptable. This can leave many young people unaware of issues related to sex. In addition some individuals may be pressured by their boyfriends or husband and also some may have got raped and are unable to come forward about the rape.
