We use this type of communication by our senses, people understand us by our emotional or feeling. Mostly like the body language, every non-flexible or re-flexible body movement that all carry some meaning on it. Staring, smiling, glancing or raising the finger is all under body language. That all have their own meaning. So the non-verbal communications are very important for some people like disable people, they can easy to translate their feeling or emotional to others can let others to help them.
There are several ways to communicate in the world today. The one way that I really want to look at is the demonstrative communication. This is one type of communication that we all do and have done, but I do not think that people realize just how many aspects there are to demonstrative communication. Demonstrative communication is nonverbal and unwritten communications that involve such aspects of facial expressions, tone of voice and body language. When you think of communication, you automatically think of someone having a verbal conversation with another person, but that is not always the case.
These expressions can express emotions, such as joy, fear, anger, interest or annoyance. Verbal communication may express one message, but your facial expression may display or contradict the words being express. Facial expressions offer multiple cues to a receiver that add to their interpretation of a message. Body language is another form of demonstrative communication. Our posture can send out messages without speaking a single word.
We communicate with much more than words. When we interact with someone, our body has a language of its own. The gestures we make, the way we sit, the way we talk, the amount of eye contact we make all of these non-verbal ways of communicating that impact the message our words are sending. Verbal messaging is communicated via the words that we use. Verbal messaging is an important part of our communication, but the way we communicate nonverbally is equally and sometimes can be more important.
Differences in Virtual interaction and face-to-face interaction the differences are as follows: In Virtual interaction; -Information can be shared to several persons at a wider range and get organized but not in face to face aspect. -Due to the era of technology, people can communicate virtually no matter how far they are located for instance using emails the way I had done. -Virtual communication allows an individual to communicate despite engagement in other schedules hence this can well be practiced by employees and their Employers. In Face-to-Face interaction; -Here communication is in person manner and a hundred percent verbal. -In this form of communication, personal relationship is always easy to establish since an assurance of physical actions like facial expressions are portrayed to gather trust as compared to Virtual communication which doesn’t exhibit physical actions.
Communication is the free and willful transfer of information from one person to the next, which includes a receiver and a sender of the information, whereby there is clear acknowledgement of the message being conveyed, understanding, and action is taken on the information provided. There are many facets to communication, including verbal, nonverbal, visual, and written communication. The most overlooked forms of communication include nonverbal and non-written communication. This is where demonstrative communication is evident. This type of communication takes place everyday and is often overlooked, misunderstood.
Talking things over is often the best way to settle disagreements or misunderstandings. It can be easier to make a person/s understand something instead of communicating to a written form, as the person can clarify misunderstandings instantly. Moreover, oral communication is Cost savings: Cost is involved in any communication. When the communication is needed within the organization and if it and is completed in orally, it has not needed any paper, pen or stamp or computer. So it saves the money of the organization.
