I think that in the argument of becoming a vegan, the pro side convinced me. First, I asked myself what is a vegetarian. So I looked up the definition, according to the Vegetarian Society a vegetarian is "A vegetarian is someone who lives on a diet of grains, pulses, legumes, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits, fungi, algae, yeast and/or some other non-animal-based foods (e.g. salt) with, or without, dairy products, honey and/or eggs. A vegetarian does not eat foods that consist of or have been produced with the aid of products consisting of or created from, any part of the body of a living or dead animal. For example, it decreases your risk of heart attacks, organ dysfunctions, kidney stones, cancer, diabetes, and bad test results for your colonoscopy. But, you can take supplement pills so that you have all the protein, plus you can eat more vegetables. In addition, The body does not absorb iron from plants as well as it does with iron from animal products. Instead you can eat something that could actually benefit you more as I said in the past paragraph. Finally, would you like to be slaughtered at a young age then for your meat to be eaten without consent?
