The articles concerning Uterus Transplantation are about woman who suffered from infertility and wanted to become impregnated. Surgeons in Swedish have successfully transplanted wombs donated from relatives into nine women and they will soon try to become pregnant. Several surgeons tried to conduct this procedure; however, all of them were not as successful as the surgeons in Swedish. There were three previous case studies of womb transplantation; Surgeons in Saudi Arabia failed after blood clotting caused the organ’s circulation to fail. Surgeons in Turkey successfully impregnated a patient but she later miscarried. Swedish surgeons were most successful with this procedure. Swedish surgeons transplanted wombs donated from relatives into nine women, it was initially ten but one of the individuals could not proceed due to medical reasons. Majority of the host who were undergoing the procedure were in their 30s and the donors were no more than 60 years old. Unlike the surgeons in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the doctors in Swedish took the uterus from live individuals. The transplant operations did not connect the women’s uteruses to their fallopian tubes, so they were unable to get pregnant naturally. Prior to conducting the operation, they removed some of their eggs to create embryos through in-virtro fertilization. The embryos were ten frozen and doctors then transferred them into the new wombs, allowing the women to carry their own biological children. When doing this surgical procedure, there are a lot of things that the surgeons should consider to have successful results. I think the doctors in Swedish were successful because they got the uterus from live donors so the organ was functional but Cleveland doctors used deceased donors. The parents of the Europe newborn baby boy should try for another baby if they desire because the procedure is intended to produce 1 or 2 children; the only disadvantage is that it’s not guaranteed. The host mother cannot keep the uterus indefinitely because they have to stop taking the anti-rejection drugs, which can cause high blood pressure, swelling, diabetes, and it can also raise the risk of different types of cancer. When trying to conduct a surgical procedure, you have to gather a lot of information regarding what you are trying to do, get participants that is interested in what is taking place, have all of the necessary medications for the patients as well as the necessary equipment.
