With the right level of focus and dedication it’s very simple to succeed in the business field despite its grueling challenges. Before even attempting to jump through any hoops, one must first figure out some of the small things like, what kind of business you want to own, is it a service or production based business, is the business high demand in your area or anywhere at all, and any other question that relates specifically to your chosen business. Location is also a key factor. For example, opening another hotel in Gold Beach wouldn’t be a great idea. These questions factor into the business concept.
With no start up fees, you will certainly have a profit now business. Other great opportunities are with pre-existing customers, and easier financing with the bank. “The biggest block to buying a small business outright is the initial purchasing cost.” (Homepage, Free Business) The initial purchasing cost of any business is going to be a great financial burden. Because the business is already up and running, along with the customer base, brands, and having the basic work done is a great advantage, but will make the business more expensive. Good research is a way to distinguish between a good business and a bad one.
The idea behind open source software is that a program can be released to the public and its source code must be readily available to users for modifications of the code. This benefits the users because over time, programs can be changed to fix bugs and ultimately evolve the original version into a better end-product. Many of the developers are unpaid, but this promotes better a better design because there isn’t a profit involved. Authors are motivated by pride and peer recognition rather than a development plan supplied by the marketing department. Most want to use the software themselves and they prefer robustness before adding features.
However it should be stated that it is not limited to very large businesses. Despite generally being more limited in functionality, there are free cloud apps and other programs that are quite useful for smaller businesses. It’s not really a matter of “do you need software?” it’s a matter of “what kind of software do you need?”. Even something as simple as google drive could be considered a very limited form of project management software, as it facilitates teamwork by allowing members to share documents and edit them together in real time. However, proper software is generally fairly expensive and complex enough to require some form of training.

While small businesses are not required to have an accountant, the advantages that they provide in compliance, savings, loyalty, and company contributions are essential. Businesses are always striving to grow and to gain more market share and customer share and with the right tools they are able to accomplish that task. Accountants carry with them a large price and the lack of control and the ability to trust them will impact any business both large and small. With alternatives available, business owners need to weigh the pros and cons of having their own accountant conveniently within arms reach in their organization. Recommendations I recommend that small businesses and startup companies take advantage of the services, skills, and benefits that accountants can provide.
First is time management splitting time between all my groups and learning how to maximize my time with them will not only help me with the rest of my time in Questrom but also in the business world. My MBTI results did not surprise me because I’m very aware of the things that I both participate in and believe in. Mainly being told I 'm an extrovert who enjoys being surrounded by groups wasn’t surprising. The MBTI results state that I “prefer creativity and freedom” which is not wrong at all. It is very accurate, working in areas the constraint-free following thought I do not enjoy.
It is also the perfect tool for anyone with an interest in purchasing established turn-key websites. What is your perception of a "turn-key" website? Do you believe that if you purchase a turn-key website then you can just sit back and let the money roll in? Remember, although the table has been set by the current website owner, the website still requires your input and management to ensure it is a success. Buying an existing website does have some advantages, but it is by no means a guarantee of success.
Garrett were a few different topics. He first talked about why he came into the entrepreneur mindset which was because engineering wasn’t working for him. He liked the idea of being his own company and working on new ideas, instead of working long hours and climbing up the food chain at a big company. He talked about taking risks and that entrepreneurs take moderate risk. This made complete sense to me because moderate risk can gain you some profit but will not completely wreck your business.
So obviously, companies think that advertising is very beneficial to them and has a huge effect on consumers or else they would not want to spend so much money on it. I tend to agree with the companies who know that often people do not research adequately before they buy something. This is because it takes time and effort to gain information. But advertisements are usually in the middle of what we are already doing, don’t require very much effort at all, and are occasionally entertaining as well, which makes them an efficient, if biased, source of information. This is probably why some people do not look beyond the advertising when choosing a product and also why the companies with the best advertising campaign do well, not necessarily the one with the best product.
