An organization is only as strong as the components that create it. A business cannot sustain feasibility only on the bottom line, At some point some area of the business will take a hit whether it is employee satisfaction or quality of product. Therefore a business that has a set mission that allows said organization can use as a guideline that represent the organization's goal in the simplest of terms is important. In addition, what follows and how an organization operates plays a role in longevity. This reinforces the message of Tyson’s vision allowing them to stay competitive, profitable, and have strong brand recognition. Tyson is more than just chicken. The company is parent company to many well known brands such as Sara Lee, Jimmy Dean, and a host of others. Therefore Tyson’s target audience is not limited demographics such as age, race, or income. In fact, Tyson essentially has something for everybody. Many of the brands that Tyson houses under their umbrella are well known and fall under the goals of the organization's vision statement. Sara Lee is always devising new baked food recipes that often mimicked. In addition, their other products and brands serve as industry leaders in their respective fields. Tyson’s customer ranges from families to millennial. However, Tyson seems to market strongly to the informed customer. Offering a wealth of information on their website including where to buy, coupons, recipes, and information about the process of creating their products. As people become more informed about the dangers of unhealthy foods and the benefits of eating healthy an organization like Tyson is wise to advertise string facts such as using antibiotic free products. Tyson Foods employees in general seem to be happy with the work environment. The rate of pay and benefits seem to be on par or even above those in similar industry.The organization also was awarded the best place to work for LGBT equality by the Human Rights Campaign
