The “Top Challenge Trend” is likely that of “Faster Pace of Innovation” causing increased competition due to lower barrier of entry. The market is flooded with new flavors and new competitors all the time. However local governments both here in the US and abroad are either banning or “heavily restricted the sale of the products” stating they “are threatening They have always kept up with trends and just a step ahead of their competitors over the So, they started to do some corporate acquisitions such as buying “16.7 stake in Monster Energy” in 2014 helping them “expand its distribution agreement with the company.” (Cooper, 2014) This is a great model for the company because they can keep their logistic costs down by helping other companies expand their distribution networks. Experimentation with the new market for carbonated beverages on the decline coke has done experiments in new flavors and healthier alternatives to try to stay competitive. As well as investing in “Keurig Green Mountain is a K-Cup maker but has a new Keurig Cold that can deliver Coca-Cola through the new system.” (Cooper, 2014) Learning from experience Coca-Cola has had some fierce competition over the years but nothing in the form of an entire health market shift like now. As well as mounting political persecution of its products like they are facing today. They must rely on past experiences to get through but likely will need to start studying the new trends to stay relevant. Learning from Others Coca-Cola has been able to learn not just from their own blunders but from other beverage companies they’ve acquired for either product expansion or for resources they have that could help
