What is the concept of time travel exactly? Time travel is the action of travelling in time to the past or future. Even though, is it even possible to travel in time and how would you travel through time? Well, according to Einstein's theory of time, it is possible to travel through time by going faster than the speed of light (186282 miles per second). We humans know the goal that we need to reach to actually time travel but the technology that has been developed today is not advanced far enough to reach the speeds needed to travel faster than the speed of light. Although there are some other theories of how we possibly travel through time (this is an incomplete thesis) What are theories that could be used in space to travel through time? One theory of how to time travel as seen in, Time Travel:Theories, Paradoxes and Possibilities,are cosmic strings. Well, what is time dilation exactly? Time dilation is the difference of elapsed time from two different locations of different masses. An example of time dilation is an astronaut in space experiences 5 years, but on earth everyone else had experienced 10 years instead of 5 because of time dilation. The proof behind time dilation has been confirmed by physical scientist through experiments. As seen in,Time Travel by Jason Lisle,“Physical experiments have confirmed his calculations. Moving clocks tick slower than stationary ones by exactly the rate that Einstein computed.” This explains how time dilation is confirmed a true possibility and can be possibly used to travel through
Black holes are thought to be a portal to another dimension or a way for time to slip. Mainly all these theories follow the laws of physics and do not cross any illogical possibilities. For a way in which we can achieve any of these would be through many more years of research. If even physically possible for any of these hypotheses to coexist with one another. Learning that there’s a possible way for black holes to allow time to lapse or elapse. The study has been a challenge, finding ways in which these ideas could work. Theories about space time are not always true, but they allow us to have an improved understanding towards the, what ifs.

Travelling through time is certainly easy to imagine. You step into the time machine; press a few buttons; and emerge out not just anywhere – but anywhen. However, in reality things aren’t quite as convenient as science fiction would suggest, as you will understand later on.
If you have ever read Einstein's Dreams, you can appreciate my dilemma. If you have not yet had the opportunity to experience this wonderful novel by Alan Lightman, I guarantee that after you read it you will expand your perception of the nature of time and of human activity. The novel is enchanting. It is a fictional account of what one of the greatest scientific minds dreams as he begins to uncover his theory of relativity.
For the Science Reader project, I read Black Holes, Wormholes, and Time Machines by Jim Al-Khalili. Interested in time travel and the secrets of space, I chose this book with hopes of better understanding our universe.

And it impacted the “common sense” understanding that people had of the universe by its new concepts such as four dimensional spaces and curved space.

Let me elaborate, if God gave me the wisdom at the age of fourteen years of age to understand my blessings, it may not have taken me one year to cure my manic depression; instead, I obtained the wisdom required at the age of fifteen.

Time Travel has always struck close to the imagination of the minds. From H.G. Wells ' "The Time Machine" to blockbuster films like "Back to the Future" - for years, time travel was the stuff of science fiction and crazy-eyed mad men but as physicists approach the subject of time travel with new advances in scientific theories and equipment, the possibility of time travel has become a more legitimate field for scientific endeavours. Our whole lives, from the time we are born until now, has revolved around the concept and thought of time. No matter how much we’d hate to admit it, we truly depend on time. Even if we try to escape time, it will always come back to haunt us. It can’t be stopped; it is the reason why we age and always have the stress of being and turning things in on time. Without it, our society wouldn’t be able to function correctly. Time can’t be thrown or brushed away, it is an extremely important element that humankind can’t live without.
Albert Einstein once said that, "Time is an illusion". Many people interpret that figuratively and end up thinking that he means the time is what you make of it or a different philosophical concept of time, but Einstein meant it quite literally. Einstein meant that time as we know it is not real. There are many reasons why time is not real and some of these include the fundamental properties of time, the relativity of time, how time is determined on a universal scale, and how time is used.
Throughout the ages, outstanding physicists, to the movies, to some of the greatest science fiction novels of all time, have pondered the idea of time-travel. The thought of actually being able to travel to another time or universe has long since enthralled, enveloped, and overwhelmed some of the greatest minds in the history of physics. No one person can actually prove any of their theories, but a few actually make sense. Meaning that they do not violate the laws of physics. One of the main theories suggested, are wormholes. Wormholes are considered to connect two regions of flat space-time, two universes, or two parts of the same universe. There is a lot of theoretical evidence that wormholes exist, with an equal amount of evidence that they do not exist. However, no matter what one’s belief is, the existence of wormholes still makes you wonder…
On the theorectical side, as Mike Garrow notes, special relativity suggests that all of spacetime exist in an eternal 'now' because the finite speed of light means there is no access to information - including notions of when someone else's 'now' is - faster than light can carry it. So, on the one hand, all of history is already written out and so you could contemplate reach back to points in spacetime that existed prior to your local 'now'. On the other hand, light only propogates 'forward' in spacetime ergo without adding exotic information carriers such as tachyons into the mix there is nothing that actually enable the reaching back to occur. The past is blocked by the light cone in Minkowski's spacetime. (Light cone).
