Natural animal instincts and lack of proper care can trigger destructive behaviours of animals, injuring their owners or other community members. There has been a total of 543 human injuries and 75 deaths as a result of exotic pets, including 52 year old woman killed by a Bengali tiger (http://channel.nat......). These numbers illustrate the risk that exotic animals pose to owners and community members. Keith Gisser, an exotic reptile owner claims he's “not the kind of animal owner neighbours need to worry about”, yet Brian Johnson Gisser's neighbour says on of the reptile owner's snakes escaped into his backyard (www.wkyc.com....). Injury and fatalities are a risk, endangering the community when exotic animals are kept as pets which is yet another reason why owning them should be illegal.

At first in the Mill, the rats only judged Hall and watched him with cold eyes. His time in the picking room is spent antagonizing the rats and they seem benevolent at first. They don’t reciprocate that same violence as Hall displays,they just scatter and the watch him once he gets to work. This is shown when the narrator says, “ And after a while, the rats came out and sat atop the bags at the back of the long room watching him with their unblinking black eyes. They looked like a jury” (2). It indicates that their danger is not something that Hall is worried about,the rats just freak him out to an extent. Yet as the men venture into the first level of the basement, the rats start to approach them and attack, becoming more hostile in their presence. Their antics work to an extent, some men uit and refuse to work with the dangerous conditions the rats present, but for the most part, the expedition of furniture, dirt, and rats continues. This is exemplified in this line. “One of them had sat up on their hind legs like a squirrel until Hall got in kicking distance, and then it had launched itself at hids boot, biting the leather” (4). It is still unknown as to what type of exact effects these chemicals may have on individuals. Some farmers that have been using pesticides in their fields and developed leukemia are finding that the cause of their disease is from inhaling pesticides. These chemicals are still in use today and most of them have never been tested for the short or long-term effects that they may have on humans.
Stray animals are dangerous reason being is children or elderly people can be bit while walking or playing around at parks. I live in Mercedes and at one point when I was walking from stars to the high school, and stray dog for no reason started growing at me and my instinct was to run until I got the a building. This can happen to anyone, they can be attacked trying to touch a stray or just simply walking by, or even worse a child can catch a disease. Also owners with their pets are also getting attacked by stray animals because they strays tend to be over protective of their territory, or they just want to fight with the pet of the owner.
