The Progression from high school life to college life presents several major changes. Graduating from high school is the first step towards a higher level of education. The Transition from high school to college is part of the transition from childhood to adulthood. High school prepares you for the basic things you need to know in order to handle college life. People can really see the difference between these two phases in life; however, there are also some similarities you will carry on during your transition into college life. Classes are one of the things that may different from high school and college. The vase amount of workload can be challenging to get things complete because of the amount of work you have in each class. In college you have certain days for classes besides having class every day instead of having class everyday like high school. You can schedule your own classes and what teachers you want in college. Nobody is forcing you to go to class or study for your exams. You have a certain amount of days you can miss before you are withdrawn from class. High school if you miss so many days your parents have to state a reason in a letter why you’ve been absent. College you yourself have to state in a letter why you’ve been absent. In college you don’t have to wait till your parents come check you out, you can simply just leave. If you need to excuse yourself from the room you can walk out quietly rather than being in high school where you have to raise your hand and get permission to leave out. Most college professors know you have a busy schedule and have kids and things you have to make sure are taken care of through the day, so some don’t mind if you have your phones to check on things.
