Transformation.

Transformation is defined as “Moving a shape so that it is in a different position, but still has the same size, area, angles and line lengths.” (mathisfun) In the Meriiam-Webster dictionary it is defined as “to change something completely and usually in a good way.” Transformation happens everyday, through the transforming of attitude, villages, Countries, and lives.

When a person becomes a Christian, they have been forgiven and freed, but they will continue to grow stronger in their relationship with God. “17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!” (NIV)

Successful transformation starts with the willingness to become different. If we are willing to, the Holy Spirit can help us to go from poor to rich, from independent to interdependent, to change from inwardly focused to outwardly focused. We will persistently become more and more the people that God has called us to be. “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:18, NIV).
