The new 2016 Toyota Mirai was introduced to the Asian market a month ago. As far as hybrid electric cars driving, Toyota has been at the forefront since the beginning of 2000 with the Prius, but after this car that it does not really made any real progress in this area. However, there is now a new form of propulsion, which is to be more involved and more manufacturers starting, and that is the hydrogen fuel cell cars. Toyota began development of its first car that uses hydrogen as a fuel in 1992, so the technology is not so new. But even if the program is quite old, they never really had a car to sell until now.
