While having the latest and best electronic devices in the world can be fun, essential, or both, the addiction of having them come at high cost to ourselves and our world. More than 3.6 million people around the different continent of the world use electronics and suffer from eye strains, vision loss and brain damage from hours of screen time. I usually see a lot of kids who are suffering eye problems because of electronics. In this exciting age of technology, technology sometimes seems to have taken control of our everyday lives from how we do things to how we act. Many teens suffer long-term and short-term effects of too much screen time. However, this problem can be stopped in three ways: using fewer electronics, spending less money on electronics, and becoming part of afterschool programs or joining sports to forget all about electronics.

Every morning when you wake up the first thing you look at is your phone and most likely it shows you what’s new on that day, it keeps showing you new things to make you use electronics, and that is why most people lose their eyesight or go blind. According to the Feed by M. T. Anderson page 5 show as for how electronics will affect our future “There is nothing but the feed telling you, this is the music you heard. This is the music you missed. This is what is new. Listen.” If this problem stops and people start using fewer electronics, more people would not lose their eyesight and will have a better eyesight than the person who uses it a lot. If this problem keeps going it will cause humanity a lot of trouble like the economy will drop and since most people are blind there will not be a lot of workers.
