Introduction
Eye Tracker is a new technology that helps measuring eye positions and movements. This technology is commonly used for many different areas of research. It is a very helpful tool for the market study that helps to analyze customers’ behavior, experience and responses by analyzing their vision and defining most eye-catching places (Grundberg, 2012).
Tobii Technologies AB is the leading eye tracking technology developer. The company was founded by Henrik Eskilsson, John Elvesjö and Mårten Skogö in 2001. The founders’ main goal was to develop the most accurate and precise eye tracking technology that will work on all users under all conditions in an easy and automatic way (Tobii Technology, 2011).
Tobii Eye Tracker is a great technology, and it is still at the very beginning of the adoption curve. Tobii eye trackers are used in a wide range of eye tracking hardware and software applications. The application of that technology can bring a lot of efficiencies and improvements in many different areas. For today, this application is most commonly used in five following areas: market researching, communication and speech generation for people with special needs, diagnostic and assessment equipment, control interface and vehicle safety solutions (Tobii Technology, 2011).
Functions
Tobii eye-tracker works by sending out a pattern of infrared light which is reflected in a person’s eyes, whereby one can compute the position and the angle of the glance to determine exactly where the person is looking (Tobii Technology, 2011). The obtained information is analyzed and further can be used for different application and researches.

In other words, it brings new branding measurements for the eMarkteing research, that will help marketers to improve format, layout, placement, electronic messages and etc. to induce action and increase effectiveness of the electronic sources (Tobii Technology, 2011).
Overall, Tobii Eye Tracking system is bringing a completely new tool for collecting the unique information that opens a gate to the new important area of study and research for the eMarketing.

Optometrists have accepted vision therapy, which is a medical treatment for optical muscle disabilities, as a feasible treatment used for eye related problems; claiming the treatment can strengthen vision and give the patient the opportunity to understand visuals quicker and clearer (Press). Vision therapy originated in the 1950s and over the past 25 years, has gained popularity, mainly because of new technological innovations in the field of treatment. Generally, vision therapy is prescribed as a measure mainly for people between the ages of 3 and 18. With the results from a comprehensive series of eye tests, the optometrist can work with the patient using special instruments—prisms, filters, occluders, and eye lenses—and strengthen the eye muscles, thus improving sight. According to optometrists in favor of vision therapy, these methods of treatment using these instruments function as safer routes to repair eye disabilities. Although vision therapy can yield favorable results, the practice as a treatment for innate eye disabilities has been in hot debate lately; as it can exceed $8000 and insurance companies do not cover the treatment. For decades, insurance companies have refused to accept vision therapy as a legitimate method for repairing eyesight (Boink). Concomitant with lack of insurance, the cost for a full treatment can exceed $8000, and doctors cannot guarantee a successful outcome. Recently, parents of children with eye related disabilities, such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (cross-eye), and doctors have attempted to cooperate with public schools to allow families access to school-funded doctors to practice vision therapy. With a tight budget, most schools cannot afford to supply vision therapy, and a...

We shall notice that the insurance increase from year to year. After insurers sign the policy, some become careless. Because they have a higher deductible amount, they would care less about being involved in a small accident or some scratches on their vehicle. They will claim them all to the insurance company. Since the frequency of claiming gets more and more often. The insurance companies have to increase insurance in order to cover their cost. And this device will reduce the number of accident in some ways. The device monitors drivers and send the data to the system. If the result shows a driver has a good driving habit, it will not only reduce the insurance but also help reducing insurance companies’ cost. From the article, it states that “In other parts of the world, including Europe, the U.S. and Japan, such devices have been used for years, with insurers claiming they result in fewer accidents, fewer insurance claims and more consumer choice”. (Paragraph 7) It seems like this new technology turns out to be a win-win. Which is bringing benefits to both customers and insurance companies.
The most commonly used vision-based coding system is the facial action coding system (FACS) proposed by Ekman and Friesen [5] for The Facial Action Coding System: A Technique for the Measurement of Facial Movement, FACS enables facial expression analysis through standardized coding of changes in facial motion in terms of atomic facial actions called Action Units (AUs). The tracking and recognition of facial activities are characterized by three levels, first in the bottom level, facial feature points around each facial component is captured. Second in the middle level, Facial action units defined using the facial action coding system(FACS), represent the contribution of a specific set of facial muscles. Finally in the top level, six prototypical facial expressions represents the global facial muscle movement and are commonly used to describe the human emotion states.
These wearable devices can perform many of the same computing tasks as mobile phones and laptop computers; however, in some cases, wearable technology can outperform these hand-held devices entirely. Wearable technology tends to be more sophisticated than hand-held technology on the market today because it can provide sensory and scanning features not typically seen in mobile and laptop devices, such as biofeedback and tracking of physiological function”.
Your eyes contain the receptors responsible for sight, which is the most dominant sense in humans. These receptors or “sensors” receive information about the surrounding environment and pass this information to your brain through the optic nerve. Your brain rapidly processes this information and creates the images you see, which allows you to see stationary objects, as well as follow moving objects whether your head is moving or is stationary.
Facial recognition can be used to create interactive advertisements based on the immediate environment of the viewer, using technology to provide a custom, personalised experience (Fitzgerald, 1999).

Technology has changed the way we communicate through our smart phones. These cordless phones have a variety of apps used to play games, maps, as musical players, alarm clocks, and even maintaining a healthy diet. Having all these fun things put all into one handheld device can come in handy in many situations, but it can put strain on your eyes and cause you to be something called isolated away from the world. It can also be distracting while sitting in a class; you pull your phone out and begin playing these games or amuse yourself with the collection of apps. I remember the first time get...
Iris recognition is very accurate and distinctive because iris has a complex texture that can produce a substantial amount of information to identify a person. Furthermore, the iris remains almost unchanged from childhood, only minuscule variations are presented. The biometric data is captured using a small and high definition camera that is able to recognize different characteristics of the iris. Moreover, the system can detect the use of contact lens with a fake iris and can realize with the natural movement of the eye if the sample object is a living being. Although initially iris recognition systems were expensive and complex to use, new technology developments have improved these weaknesses.
