A long time ago tobacco was grown by American Indians. Native Americans grew this plant for many medical reasons until they suddenly became addicted. Over many years people have started smoking or dipping tobacco and have had many different effects on their body from doing this. Women, men, teens, and even children use tobacco in some way. Tobacco affects nearly every part of your body and the reason is because there are more than 7,000 chemicals including nicotine. But how does it affect your body? Many people seem to ask.
When nicotine enters the bloodstream it affects both the mind and the body. Nicotine triggers the brain cells making your body want tobacco more and more. Nicotine arrives eight to ten seconds after it has been inhaled. When wanting to stop using tobacco you might have some side effects. Such as, becoming dizzy, getting sick, having headaches, etc. because your brain won’t be able to let the nicotine go so easily. People who do not smoke have an average of living thirteen-fourteen years longer than people who do smoke.
Tobacco affects the brain in many ways. When you first start smoking you are most likely to get headaches and become dizzy. Tobacco also makes you very moody when you first start smoking or when you are trying to quit. For example, you can feel anxious, nervous, and/or depressed after you inhale the chemicals the cigarette or cigar released. Your brain can also be affected by the nicotine telling your body you want more and more of the tobacco. Nicotine kills brain cells as well as making you addicted.
Your mouth can be affected by tobacco as well. Many people dip or snuff. Doing this can cause mouth cancer and many other diseases. Your tongue, lips, cheeks, and teeth can ...

...it. If you are a parent or guardian, smoking around your children can hurt them. If the person around you doesn’t smoke they still have a higher risk of having lung cancer or other possible diseases.
Women who smoke while being pregnant can hurt them and the baby. Some women who smoke have miscarriages or stillbirths. Others might have babies born with breathing problems or learning disabilities.
Tobacco industries in the United States produce around 660 billion cigarettes and about three billion cigars yearly! There are more than 440,000 annual deaths in the Unites States and about 10,000 of those deaths are caused by lung cancer. Forty percent high school graduates smoke cigarettes. Some peoples body let them quit while others really struggle to quit because of the nicotine. I advise you not to use tobacco because it only takes once to become addicted.
