Colleges and Universities should be free

Getting taught at a good university or college is required for getting a good job but it can be hard to get accepted. 12% of people that finished high school can’t afford to pay for college or university. Some family are struggling to get money, schools that younger kids and young teenagers under 17 go to are free and the money is used for other reason. Some reason why college and university should be free is because families can’t afford it, other schools are free, and the money is used in other ways.

The family can’t afford college because, if your parents are unemployed or works part time that means they will get a low payment, If your families buys things instead of saving the money that means no money will be saved, if a family is struggling to get money and can’t afford college or university there jobs don’t give a good amount of money. Other schools are free, elementary, secondary and summer schools are free, if those schools weren’t free then, to get past every grade it will cost a lot and if you fail high school to redo the grades again it will cost a lot but, because of the provincial autonomy those schools have to be free. Use the money in other ways, you should use the money for medical reason or donate the money to a charity or to an elementary/secondary school, use the money for your family needs such as food, clothing and for other needs. …show more content…

If colleges or university wasn’t free students will have to get a loan if they can’t afford it and right after they will have to pay back the loan to the college or university. Also, a survey was done 53% of people said that college and university should be free. Overall, colleges and universities are great for getting a good paying
