Pennsylvania was settled by tolerant Quakers who found land filled with rich soil, tall forests, and navigable rivers. If I had to pick a colony to live in I would definitely pick the middle colonies, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Middle colonies would have been the best place to live in the 1600’s because they treated women as equals, there wasn’t too much slavery, you have freedom of religion and the climate was nicer and easier to farm.
