When people think of a healthy lifestyle, they tend to think of people that live in the gym everyday and are probably vegan or vegetarian. Being healthy isn’t about living in gym every day for hours on end; it actually is the exact opposite. Having a healthy lifestyle isn’t a hard thing to do. Eating healthy is probably the hardest of them all though. Who doesn’t love a nice greasy cheeseburger, loaded down with some mayonnaise and all the fixings? You should also manage your stress, watch your weight, get yearly testing for cholesterol, certain cancers, diabetes, blood pressure, and quit bad habits such as smoking and drinking in excess. Some factors you can’t control, such as your genetics or your age, but that shouldn’t stop you from doing anything you set your mind to. Your quality of life is all what you make it, or what you want it to be. If you lay around every day, eat less than par food, smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day, you’re more than likely not going to have the best quality of life. You’ll end up getting stressed out because you can’t fit into those favorite jeans anymore and you won’t be able to breathe because all that tar and other chemicals in cigarettes will be affecting your lungs. What kind of life is that? By changing a few simple things in your everyday life, you can drastically reduce your chances of diabetes, heart disease, strokes, even cancer... ... middle of paper ... ... to them to get the stress off your chest.
