This is my love story. It all started in 9th grade when my lunch class got changed. My band teacher moved me and couple of my friends into the 10th graders lunch class. At first I didn’t know what to think. But then I met Colton. Colton Dixon. Even his name is dreamy! Well we both played the Saxophone and my band teacher made him sit by me.
"Colton, go and sit by Britt." Mrs. Hollister told him. I looked at one of my best guy friends Chris Tomlin and nodded at him to scoot over. Colton came to sit down. We started talking about this teacher we didn’t like. Chris joined in and we all started laughing. I started to like this lunch class.

At lunch I was sitting by my best friend, Natalie Grant. "So Britt who was that guy Mrs. Hollister made you sit by? He seems a little..." "Well he agrees that he can’t stand Mr. Broote. Oh and his name is Colton," I looked over at him, "he's kind of cute." Natalie looked at me like I was crazy. "You're right. I don’t see it anymore."

A couple weeks had passed and talking to Colton became a regular thing. I made some new friends too, like Mark Hall, Matthew West, Toby Mac, and Mandisa. One day I was sitting at lunch with Natalie and I felt a tap on my back. "Do you like Colton?" One of Colton’s percussion friends asked me. I nearly spit my drink on Natalie thinking, how do they know? But in reality I said "No!!" And Colton looks at me and says "Oh I forgot we were keeping our relationship on the down low!" And I started blushing--hard. My friends we beside me laughing and all I could do was blush. "It’s ok baby we can talk about it now." Colton said. I just turned around and continued eating my sandwich. When we got back to the classroom Colton came up and was like "Bye Britt!'" Then he ga...

...I broke my ankle in February! Finally, after you and Keri break up you come running back to me! And I don’t know about you but I don’t enjoy being someone’s second choice!” He looked at me with soft eyes. “I’m sorry Britt.” And rehearsals ended, and he never said a word to me.

My eleventh grade year I had band and lunch with Colton again. I also figured out that Keri moved to England. When Colton saw me in band he dropped his books. “Britt? Britt! It’s you!” I nodded. “Ok can we just start over?” I nodded again. “I’m Britt.” I held out my hand. “Colton.” He replied taking my hand and shaking it. “I think we’re going to be good friends.” I nodded. “Me too.”

My name is Britt Dixon and I am 24 years old. I got married to Colton Dixon last year fall. We now have a little bundle of joy on the way. This is my story on how I met my true love, Colton Dixon. The End!
As he proceeds to talk about her, he said that one day she came up to him and asked if he wanted to be in a skit with her. By that moment he didn’t know what to reply. So he ended up saying “yes”. He had told his best friend, and his best friend replied that
It was late fall in my freshman year of high school where I became very good friends with two girls named Alyson and Brittany. Brittany was short and plump. She had long blond hair and freckles. She just had this look that made her seem very innocent and sweet. Alyson on the other hand was tall and skinny with short dark hair. She did not necessarily put off that innocent vibe. We were nearly inseparable. The weather was sunny and warm, we were always out and about whether we were riding quads, swimming or just having a movie day, When we were together we never argued, the room was always filled with random conversations and laughter. Brittany invited Alyson and I over for a sleep
The time was around 10:30 and my eyelids felt as heavy as a brick to keep open. I was just about to shut everything down for the night, when the loud sound of a snapchat notification startled me awake. I looked at the blaring screen of my phone in the dark, to see it was from my friend Jordan. Flirting with each other was our thing, but nothing more. At the end of everything, he's a junior and I'm a freshman, he still wants me to grow up a little bit. I opened up
In the eighth grade, I dated a boy named Ben. He could ride a unicycle and sew, and we sat next to each other on the bus to the learn-to-ski program. Before it was assured that he like-liked me, and we officially dated, I was head-over-heels for this boy. I was planning on asking him out soon when we went to the Black Ice Tournament at White Park. It was there we ran into Lucy Arsenault, who was one grade above me, a very cool, very mature high schooler whom I had known for some time. Sometimes in middle school she would let me sit next to her on the bus, and tell me about her even cooler older bisexual sister who would drive her to the mall. Flip phone in hand, it was mere minutes before she procured Ben’s phone number. I did not think all hope was lost, but when I was making plans with Ben that night to go skiing that weekend, he told me that he now had a girlfriend! This was real heartbreak, and I listened to a lot of Death Cab for Cutie on my mom’s iPod nano until Tuesday, when they broke up. Lucy became one of my closest friends later on in high school, and joke’s on her because now I’m dating her brother, and it’s been way longer than a week.
“Beck, I think you need to buy this. Like you really need to buy this.” Casciana spoke with a lot of Sarcasm. It was funny seeing a Seattle Shirt inside a Massachusetts KMART of all places. “Please?” she begged just slightly enough to make him annoyed. “Looks like the big K has stepped up their game!” looking up from the rack of football shirts she nodded her head before lowering it again, pulling another shirt out this time a Tennessee Titans shirt she smiled, she was awkward while living in New York she had learned a little about football and fell in love with the Titan's even though their team sucked hardcore their quarterback was kind of cute. “It does look Big K has stepped up, I've been looking for a Titan's shirt everywhere. Question, did you get a room with one or two beds? Since, you know I really don't want to overstep our boundaries unless you want me sleeping next to you?” as the words came out she sighed a little. It was true she didn't want to overstep anything including when it came to Beck. She just wanted this to be a fun trip even if they were basically trying to recollect their thoughts and get things sorted out with other
By seventh grade, Landon and I had become friends again, and we both agreed to follow the popular kids. Unfortunately, school leadership made the mistake of splitting our house up to compensate for having to combine parts of seventh and eighth grade into one lunch. Our alliance was devastated, as we lost many influential leaders and the remaining students fragmented into the sea of seventh and eighth graders. Fortunately, Landon and I were still together, but the remaining students needed a new
Rachel had a crush on this boy in our class; his name was John. Everyone knew that Rachel and John liked each other. I teased her about him like everyone else did. I did not see teasing her as a big deal, but I guess she did. At Hollis Hand, the bathroom doors were
When I began my lessons with Ken, they took place at school, but then somewhere down the line, he wanted them to be at his house. He was the teacher, and I was told that you never argued with what the teacher had to say. Our next lesson, I showed up at his house at 1:00 sharp, ready to sing. I had never been to his house before, and I was a little nervous about seeing it. However, when he opened the door and greeted me with his cute little smile, I knew there was nothing to be nervous about. We started our lesson by singing a few songs for fun (we always sang duets together). He said that I wasn't singing my best and asked if I was stressed. Of course I was stressed! I was the lead in our school musical and it would open in two weeks. "One can never reach their full potential when they are stressed," he said, as he began to rub my shoulders. This was weird for me, but like I said, he was the teacher, and you never argue with the teacher. We finished our lesson, I thanked him and I was on my way out. Before I left though, he took my face in his hands, and he kissed me goodbye. I didn't really know what to do. Had that just happened? Did he just kiss me? Did I kiss him back? Is that wrong? He's too old! I'm too young! He's my teacher! We spoke on the phone several times that week, but never brought up the kiss.
The next day in class, Derek walked by and sat down right beside me. I started to say hi as he blurted out, “Wanna go out for pizza sometime?” it took me back for a second, then replied, “Sure, I would really enjoy that.” He proceeded to give me his number so we could find time in both of our schedules to go
I was no longer the lost little freshman wandering around the school with no body knowing my name. It was my time, I had made friends with everyone, and I was ready to take on my last year of high school with everyone by my side. I had been waiting all day long to finally go to yearbook and see all my fellow yearbookies and get the year started with them. It was in a different room this year. But why? Why was it not in Coach Ritchie’s room? To my surprise not only was it in a different room, but there was a different sponsor. A new teacher at Chelsea, Ms. Hammrick, was going to be our yearbook sponsor. I immediately ran to Coach Ritchie’s room when my day was over at 1:25 pm and asked why in the world we didn’t have him as our yearbook sponsor and what was I going to do trying to adjust to someone new who didn’t know how anything worked. He placed his hand on my shoulder and said, “Well goober, they needed an extra teacher for a math class, and since I was qualified, they took yearbook away and gave me an extra math class. And for adjusting to someone new? That’s just going to have to be something you work out with the new sponsor. You’re no stinkin’ freshman
It was a warm humid night outside of my bedroom, there was a light drift traveling through the window. Midnight came around and I had no time to be tired, because it was 2pm in Iraq and my soldier had certain times when he would be able to talk to me. My boyfriend, Derek, is on his last deployment before his honorable discharge. He lost his right leg in an accident 2 years ago, and the generals said that this was his last deployment. I was blissful for that. I sometimes go days without sleep, but I would go years if it meant I would be able to see the face that I fell in love with. The glimmer in his eyes was always there, even if I had to stare at a computer just to see it. He’s busy with his troop, but he always found time to talk to me, even if it was for 5 minutes. That was one of the reasons why I love him so much. He was so munificent.
This was the time I met the most beautiful women in my life,my french girlfriend. We met in the tum-tum.Can You believe that! No common subject, nothing in common!Just a bus, that's all!!So, we met and I asked he if she would like to come to cafe and she said yes! Bonnie the secretary introduced me to my new teacher. As Mrs. Bonnie was leaving the room, my new teacher Mrs. Evaheart introduced me to the class. As I stared at the class I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed. I wanted to go back to my old school where I had friends, knew almost everyone, a place where I didn’t feel lonesome, a place anywhere but here. As I saw each and every one of my new classmates faces the utter dread that I felt slowly began to fade as I saw a familiar face. Seeing one of my former friends give me a renewed hope that maybe being in this school won’t be so bad after
It was ever so dark that evening. It hurt to look at her. It was like looking at my heart barely beating on the floor. I couldn't stand it. Love never hurt me this much. I can't believe this happened. Why me? Why her? Why us? In an instant it was over. I remember the first time we met. It was actually kind of funny. She was walking her dog. Actually, the dog was walking her. I was reading a poem and walking along. When all of the sudden, we collided. The second I looked up into her eyes, I fell for her harder than an avalanche off of Mount Everest. I think she felt the same way because we didn't look away for what seemed like 5 hours. We talked in the park for about an hour and a half. She told me her name was Kristeen Thorne and told me that she was a new student at Orangeville High School; the same school I attended. We found that we had six out of seven classes together, which was a very good thing. I asked her to go out with me that Friday night. We went to the movies first, and then we went to Vinnie Vicci's Italian restaurant. The date was perfect and the person I was with made the date seem like Heaven. We dated non- exclusively for about one month. On our one month anniversary, I gave her my letter jacket which I earned playing varsity football.
As the day’s went by everyday seemed a little easier to get up in the morning. I stopped wishing for myself to die in my sleep. I began to live again and be able to meet new people and be okay how I felt. Just like the feelings for Mathew would never go away ether did the new feeling for Timothy, I new even id I tried really hard that it was going to fallow me around. Every day that past when I was in Therapy it became a lot easier to talk to Timothy. I then began to open up with Timothy he seemed to have a lot of things that Mathew had which at times made me sad and happy. I could tell Timothy liked me as well but I new he was hurting from his lose of loved one as well. We strictly kept is in a friend zone.
