Once upon a time in Doggy Land. There was the alpha family of the land. The alpha dog had three sons that would take over his spot. The alpha dog, Kent, knew that his career of alpha would soon be over; that he would had to give the magical doghouse to one of his sons to become the alpha dog of the pack on their land. Their father wasn’t quite sure who would be the best for the alpha position. He didn’t really want to see his sons fight, but he knew that it had to be done. He also new that right now they were had equal power, that they would just end up killing each other if they didn’t have a chance to learn different things. So Kent decided that he wanted his sons to have a fair chance and go to the other alpha Villages were they could have a good chance for one of them to be able to over power the other. The three little dogs decided that they would take three weeks to learn what they could before the big fight. They all went to different alpha lands, going to the alpha asking if they could teach them to be an alpha. Well all the three brothers had the same idea. All three of ...
Pit bulls, the most dangerous dog to ever live. People like to train Pit Bulls to fight other dogs until they are either hurt or dead. The owners that train the dogs are usually the ones that make the dog turn out to be vicious and dangerous. “Each year, 1.2 million dogs are euthanized, approximately 40% of whom are Pit Bulls”(Moore). Pit Bulls don’t know better to understand which is right from wrong since they’re being raised up to fight and protect. Pit Bulls aren’t good family dogs due to the power of their strength and that they could attack at any moment.
... wildly, beating his little yellow wings against the wires" (259). When Joe is around Caesar, he threatens to take the dog off his chain and release him into the town. To Louisa, taking the dog off his chain symbolically relates to her being freed from the constraints Joe is putting on her. Because she, like the dog, have been alone for so long, it would be frightening to go out and experience new things. People tend to do what they know, and for fourteen years, Louisa and her pets have been accustomed to solitude. The man's influence is seen as disruptive since it threatens change on Louisa's life. The symbolism Freeman portrays between the pets and Louisa is immense and obvious. Because of this, it is easy for the reader to make such connections. Freeman's choices make this an easy to read story that appeals to all readers at all different skill levels.
...ports Illustrated cover photo of a pit bull (Pit Bull Rescue Central, "Breed Information”). Dog fighting made a comeback during the 1980s and the pit bull became the favorite macho dog for dog fighters. The dogs were trained to kill or be killed. Pit bulls were also the preferred guard dog for gangs, thugs and criminals. Since the supporters and detractors of pit bulls hold such disparate opinions regarding the ferocity of the breeds, it is only hoped that further discussion and education will help resolve the sad fate that awaits these unfortunate animals. Simply placing all the blame on the breeds will not solve the problems of dog fighting, overbreeding, aggressive training, and excessive euthanizations. Lastly, the biased, sensationalistic publicity of horrific dog attacks which has destroyed the reputation of the once beloved All American Dog must cease.
Canine tales are becoming an ever-more-popular medium for expression, says Garber: “Just as the pathos of human love and loss is most effectively retold, in modern stories, through the vehicle of the steadfastly loyal and loving dog, so the human hero has increasingly been displaced and replaced by the canine one” (44). The spotlight has been shifted from the larger-than-life human to the humble family pet and his canine brethren. Stories that feature a dog rather than a person are able to more convey a deeper sense of meaning, establishing their...

When Larry and his two sons first meet Oogy it was on a gloomy day, that weekend they had just put down one of their beloved animals. However, when they meet Oogy they knew he had to be theirs. He was the friendliest, ugliest dog they had ever met. Taking Oogy home is all they wanted, yet, they had to get the most important approval, their mothers. Jennifer, their mom, agreed to adopt Oogy on one condition- if a doctor could tell her he was of no harm to anyone and would
Over the years, discrimination has slowly, but surely become an inevitable product of human nature because inequalities in social and economic status occur and thus, humans have become predisposed to discriminate and be discriminated against.
Your spirit animal can look at your past, and can provide a glimpse into your present and possible future. Spirit animals also offer spiritual guidance. The lion personality has the unmistakable presence of nobility. Moving with the unruffled calm of a cat and the dignified gait of someone in command, lions have no need to walk or talk quickly since they're never in danger of being ignored or marginalized. Every now and then, the lion will play to its gruff reputation by dramatically reprimanding a subordinate or impulsively making love to its partner with unsheathed claws. But underneath all its hissing and scratching, it's still a pussycat at heart. Lions usurp a disproportional amount of resources with their extravagant lifestyles, and because
So Kevin took his Dad's advice and started to make his presentation on why Cromwell needs dog training. But Kevin is scared because what if Howie says no even though the presentation was great. Kevin went to his Mom and Dad for help but because Kevin did not want them to make the presentation all about them and not about Cromwell, Kevin decided to take the project to one of his friends that had dogs that were already in dog training, to get some more information about it, and what was the purpose of it and just to make sure that it wasn’t a waste of time. So Kevin went to his friend Sarah and asked her,
This animal should think of what their positions are in. This is Napoleon’s dogs, where Napoleon’s dogs have received power, making them vigorous, and since they are loyal to Napoleon for what he was the one that trained them. The dogs, don’t know who they are loyal to, and if they think for a moment of what power they were received, and they could change the whole plot if they think. Napoleon gave them that power, so they can have bloodlust, and they Napoleon want them to not think so the dogs can have the excitement, and not turned on Napoleon. This shows many ways of what Animals could have done if they think before they act, and how this could turn their situation around. The lesson would be a need in my world where people would learn the results they have done, before thinking, where it could have been the opposite if the people think the same way as in Animal Farm, and some people, could first just act, then realize what they have just done. For example, some people could have realized that this person that people wanted to elect, that the person running for an election probably won’t promise any of those things, and if the crowd just act, and vote for that candidate, then they aren’t thinking. This could be a good lesson for anyone that should think then act, and not the opposite. This could also impact me of where I could act stupid, and follow someone’s order, even if it’s a
