The company known as trustworthy open to our clients, and understanding built this company. As a graduate, I am a proud employee to work for such a prestigious firm. Therefore, as the public relations professional for the housing developer, I am to promote multi-family housing to middle-income families. I started to gather information on the project to find out that the land for the complex was the site of a landfill. An EPA report very low levels of contaminants that are not life-threatening hazards. When explained to my boss, he does not want to include the information in the landfill history in promotional material.
My values in this situation happens to prove strong because of my personal background coming from a middle-income family. I do not want to hold information from people with families because they should understand the dangers that come with buying a home in this area. I take the journalistic values because the public does have a right to know. In addition, my public relations background commits to ethical practice. The six code of ethics: advocacy, honesty, expertise, independence, loyalty and fairness. Honesty stress we adhere to the highest standards of accuracy and truth in advancing the interests of those we represent and in communicating with the public ( ). The credibility of the housing developer is the best interest versus withholding the information. I want people to continue to see the company as an honest, caring business.
Kant’s categorical imperative states, “Right is right and must be done even under the most extreme conditions.” The basic concept is what is right for one is right for all for all time. I chose this principle because if people decided dishonesty over honesty when dealing with their...

I would probably move because I would not trust anything the company had to say at that point. I believe that in order to keep credibility we have to take responsibility for choosing a site that used to be a landfill. As the company to keep clients ensured of great service they needed to be honest. The best way to minimize harm. I think choosing a credible organization out beats a dishonest one. I believe Kant said it best, “Humans have an instinctive knowledge of what is right – a conscience – and must act on it.”
