People often argue about the origin of the universe, a Christian however, does not need to wonder. God told his people everything they need to know about their origins in his word, the Bible. The only problem is that scientists often misinterpret facts and Christians often misinterpret God 's word to mean what they want it too according to their opinions or world view. In the textbook “Biology A“ by BJU Press, a worldview is defined as “ the frame of reference a person uses to interpret and understand the world around him.1” Every person be they saved or lost has a worldview which guides them to ideas and certain trains of thought. The large fossil record can easily be explained when the flood is taken into account .1 the bible says very little about the world before the flood. Scripture does show that even though there were several differences in the world before the flood did have things in common with the one we live in today. The flood drastically changed the world in such a way that the bible even divides between the two calling one the world that was then and the other the world that is now. The world changed so drastically not only due to the catastrophic flood but also because of the volcanic activity which followed as well as an ice age or ice ages, which may have happened although they would have been much shorter than the secular world believes. 2 The flood was worldwide, not just a local event, the fossil record gives evidence to this, as well as many rapidly buried animals in full graveyards, the rapid deposit of sediment, and the rapid lay down of strata all of these and many more points toward a worldwide catastrophic flood. Fossilization is not happening extensively today when things die they tend to decompose quickly, however, an abundance of preserved parts fossils carbon, tracks, and preservation of forms fossils exist. These each had to have formed quickly ruling out their build up over time. Many proofs and effects of the flood still linger in the world today, even though the world today is very different from the antediluvian world.
