In addition, Turkle makes a claim that, “...the moment that people are alone, even for a few seconds, they become anxious, they panic, they fidget, they reach for a device.” The ability to be without a device for a long time period is decreasing. Along with that, people start to show symptoms of withdrawals once they are away from their phone for long time periods. Since we are able to get information in nearly seconds there is no need to actually think.
