Shakespeare shows somewhat of a connection in all of his plays. This man was truly amazing. He is in many cases considered the best writer of all time. The way he words the lines of each play and makes them all flow together so smoothly is incredible. People all over the world, have and still do admire his work. Yet if someone were to go back in time and tell him of all the success he was going to accomplish in the future, he probably would have just simply laughed. Writing plays was his job and how he made money. He liked to entertain people. He enjoyed writing so much and was very passionate about it. Acts 1, 2, and 3 of Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet share similarities with acts 1, 2, and 3 of his other play A Midsummer Night’s Dream because, Juliet and Hermia are both supposed to marry the man that their fathers have chosen, one character trying to get rid of others, and the fights started due to how much one man or both men love and care for another person.

Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet is very similar to act 1 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream because Juliet and Hermia are both supposed to marry the man their fathers have chosen. In act 1 of Romeo and Juliet, servants of the two households get into a fight, Capulet and Paris discuss Juliet becoming Paris’s bride, and the Capulet’s host a party which Romeo and his buddies sneak into. It is here where Romeo and Juliet first lay eyes on each other and fall in love. In act 1 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Egeus is furious with the fact that he has given his consent for Demetrius to marry his daughter Hermia, yet she loves Lysander. Both Juliet’s and Hermia’s fathers have arranged for their daughters for them to marry the man they approve of, one character trying to get rid of others, and the fights started due to how much one man or both men love and care for another person are the similarities between Acts 1, 2, and 3 of Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet and acts 1, 2, and 3 of his other play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After reading both plays, you can see how alike the content in each of them are. Shakespeare uses the same techniques to capture the audience’s attention. He knows exactly what is going to keep everyone entertained throughout the whole play. This is one of Shakespeare’s many talents. Overall he was just a gifted writer who has impacted society throughout history. Will Shakespeare’s unique plays continue to impact people’s lives in the future?
