The Wall has recently premiered as a game show hosted by Chris Hardwick. A nearly forty-foot pegboard contains fifteen slots at the bottom that all have cash value, and as the ball drops toward the slots, a team of two contestants anxiously await their destiny. Upon the ball arriving at its destination, the contestants are quizzed on random facts that advance the game with a correct answer. As the contestants compete further along in the game, the potential monetary prizes grow larger and larger. A few twists and turns throw a wrench in the seemingly easy operations of gameplay, so audience tension will remain at a high. Potential viewers are more inclined to watch a new show that is stamped with a recognizable and credible studio. Credibility amongst celebrities is also critical in the entertainment industry. Host, Chris Hardwick, has already established a successful career in both comedy and television. Fans of shows such as Web Soup and The Late Late Show will recognize his contributions and direct attention toward The Wall (“Chris Hardwick”). NBA superstar LeBron James is also an executive producer for the show, which will brilliantly expand the audience into basketball fans who support the star forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers. James recently began acting in films, as another avenue for him to expand his fan base.
