The United States of America has been known for many years to be the greatest nation on earth, and for having beautiful, and intelligent citizens. But why is it the greatest nation on earth; what makes it so powerful and great? It’s the citizens. This nation is driven by a dream, or at least its citizens are, the “American Dream”. I myself as a citizen have realized that the “American dream” is far from being easy to accomplish, and that only a few are destined to achieve it. Not everyone is meant to make his or her dream come true, for this nation needs a hard working middle class to stay on its feet; and looks for ways to keep a good balance, to keep being the “Greatest nation on earth.” The only way to do that is to have a strong working middle class, and to keep people poor, because without a big middle class this nation wouldn’t be what it is today. According to Salon, asocial media website that mainly focuses on U.S politics said that Germany “Germany has 900 programs in English, and is eager to attract foreign students to tuition-free universities due to the country’s shortage of skilled workers.”(P.1). Germany is not the only country that offers free tuition for higher education; other countries like France, Brazil, Finland, Norway, Slovenia, and Sweden also provide their students with free higher education. Even though those countries offer free education for their students they all have a problem; they aren’t the greatest nation on earth. Germany tries to attract foreign students so that they can have more skilled workers, which means that they aren’t doing very well and all of the other countries that offer free education aren’t known to be the greatest nation on earth, so what makes The United State of America so great? Is it the high price that they charge for higher education, or is it the illegal immigrants that work under the radar and also support the middle
