3”Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me. 4And make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me that I may eat… “(Genesis 27:3-4) People claim that hunting is an evil practice and it’s unnecessarily cruel to “defenseless”, “harmless” animals. What they don’t realize is that their opinions are not based off the Word of God but instead what they (as in humans) think is right. God gave us these delicious-tasting animals to enjoy as food respectfully, as opposed to killing them only for the thrill. I am going to be showing you the roots of hunting and why it is necessary today. And by the way, a wise man named Paul Rodriguez stated “Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know they’re in the game (2012)”

Hunting is the practice of pursuing any living thing, usually wildlife or feral animals, by humans for food and survival (“Hunting”, 2011). Hunting has been traced back to the beginning of man. In American culture, hunting has always been a way of life. The Native Americans and early American settlers hunted to survive, that is so they did not die of starvation, just in case that is in any way confusing. Today however, puny-minded individuals see it not as a way of life, but as a thirst for blood and murder. In order to survive, men had to hunt to provide food for their families and communities, and if unsuccessful, they would go hungry. Their survival depended upon what they hunted and killed, leaving nothing to waste. Every part of the animal was used from the bones to the meat to the pelt, to satisfy the needs of survival. Men had to be creative to outsmart these cunning animals; therefore, a wide variety of weapons were use...

It is an inherited extinct that is deeply rooted in human nature around the world to have the urge and desire to hunt. Whether it’s ducks, squirrels, rabbits, deer, turkey, frogs, fish, dove, or deer, God has happily blessed us with delicious, savory, delectable, and 100% fulfilling, protein-packed meat that provides us with the nutrients and energy needed to live.

I have just shown you some right-wing substantial proof on why I think that hunting is foundationally right. I will support the second amendment and the right to hunt ‘til the day I die. Hunting is rooted deep inside in the blood of all people whether we want to admit it or not. It is natural, it is instinctive, and most of all, it is traditional. And by the way… it’s freakin’ fun!!
