The Trinity is the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons. The three beings are God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. They are three beings in perfect relationship in one essence. Each member of the Godhead are equally important, but serve different positions in authority. [5 The three beings are uncreated beings without beginning. The three different names are not separate parts of God, but one name for God because the three beings coexist as one entity. They are inseparable and have perfect unity.] [2 The word Trinity is the Christian doctrine of the Godhead.] The Trinity is considered a divine mystery beyond comprehension. The word trinity itself is never actually used in the bible, but is clearly see in the scriptures.
The Father is the head of the trinity, making him the first in authority. Chapter 24 verse 36 says “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” This doesn’t make the Son, or the Holy Spirit less valuable. For example, is a wife less valuable than the husband, or a son less valuable than the dad? No, the Father just has more authority. “With great power comes great responsibility” a famous quote from Ben Parker who is a character in Marvel, but nonetheless true. The Father has more responsibility than the Son and Holy Spirit, but they are still equal. The Son is second in authority, but is still equal to the Father and Holy Spirit. John 14:31 says “but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here” and again explains that very clearly. 1 Cor 11:3 says, “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” Finally the Holy Spirit is third of the three beings. Jn 14:26 says “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to
The definition of person is, “a person is a being, such as a human, that has certain capacities or attributes constituting personhood.” Each member has characteristics and attributes that fill the the definition. God the Father in control of his action and can think for himself and has thoughts. God the Son is fully human. He cried took care of people and love others. God the Holy Spirit is capable of thinking of his own also. He can be grieved and can travel where he wants. So, each member of the trinity is considered their own unique
