The Taste of Fun
Most people know that the main ingredients in pasta: noodles, sauce, and sometimes meat combined makes a good meal for lunch and dinner. However, to have a great fun pasta meal that is simple and full of flavor, better than just good, people would have to eat at a restaurant/bar called Bobby Hebert’s Cajon Cannon, located in Metairie, LA. Created by the owner and his friend, Bobby and Deke’s Mardi Gras Pasta is the best cajon pasta in the Jefferson Parish area of Louisiana because of three important combinations: its creamy alfredo sauce, fettucce noodles, and fresh seafood.
Unfortunately, the creamy alfredo sauce is not found in stores like some alfredo sauces. This original sauce has a taste full of excitement. Chopped green bell peppers, garlic, onion, and other seasonings that can be distinguished in each bite give this sauce a unique taste. The orange from the alfredo sauce, the green from the bell peppers, the pink and white from the shrimp, and the red and white from the crawfish tails, mixed in on a deep plate, screams fun. In addition, adding the challenge of picking up the noodles, a piece of shrimp, and a crawfish tail, enjoyment covered in creamy alfredo sauce on one folk speaks nothing but countless fun until the pasta is gone. This party pasta knows how to speak for its self in more than one way. I have walked into Bobby Hebert’s Cajon Cannon over fifteen times in the last year and have ordered this pasta over seven times and not once have I been disappointed. Consistency is something many people admire about this dish. In conclusion, creamy sauce with simple ingredients, fettucce noodles cooked correctly, and fresh simple to eat seafood combined makes the best pasta around.
