1. Supervision Management is an essential part of the social work profession and to support this perspective the authors created a conceptual framework for human service management. Using this framework, I was able to assess my strengths and areas of development as a manager. One of the six dimensions of leadership, which is supervising, that I believe is an area for development for me as a manager. There are many dynamics that are vital to effectively display desirable attributes of a good supervisor. Strategic planning is a team pursuit by being able to refine both the threats and opportunities for growth. Gathering together to create an approach to ensure the survival of the organization. Being on the social work committee as an undergraduate I was able to plan for board meetings about students concerns t ensure the quality of educational experience was up to par while obtain accreditation. Being part of that process helped to me gain experience on how to plan which I is now my strong suit. 6. Monitoring and Evaluating The sixth dimension of leadership monitoring and evaluating, I believe is an area of strength. In my previous field of work because of my expertise I was in charge of making sure to help improve performance and achieve the best results. It is a detailed process of assessments for an individual to look at their performance on a consistence basis by reporting strengths and room for growth. I feel having the experience I would be able to provide recommendations for current and future. 7.
