Limited Government was partially created by the Bourgeoisie, a social class that was form in and around the 16 and 17 century. At the beginning the bourgeoisie placed formal and constitutional limits of the government. Even though, the original reason for those limits was to favor the Bourgeoisie class. This was put in place to stop the control of government by the aristocracy. Later it served a greater purpose, it keeps the government in check and aid in the protection of the citizens. Part of the structure of limited Government prohibits the government from interfering with areas, such as, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech or expression, freedom of assembly or association, and freedom from arbitrary search and seizure. This was later evolved and call Bill of Rights. The U.S. Constitution was written with these terms in it. Second is the separation of powers by dividing the system in three different areas, Legislative, Executive and judicial. This separation of power allows one branch of the government to have a part on the decisions of the other two. This was design and put in to place to balance the power of each branch of the government and to allow interaction and participation. This is called check and Balance Federalism, is where the power is divided between the Nation and the states. This is what gives the States and the federal government power to make decision while following the rules. The power between the national government and state governments has boundaries in what are allow to do. The division of power has the result that, each party of the federation is limited in its use of power by the existence of other unit. They have a minimum age of 25yrs old at least of 7 years of citizenship. They get 2 year term, they are elected by the people directly by voting. The house is the only one that can originate revenue bills. The main reason for the member of the House of Reresentatives is to allow people to participate directly in changes in the constitution and to stop the excessive power of the democracy. They are more involved with the local. With each party there are either conference (republican) or caucus (democrats) where they proposed their leaders. By a majority of votes, The Speaker of the house is selected, a majority leader and a minority leader. In the House of Representatives there are committees, this are special groups that take the responsibility to oversee a special area or department. Example the house has the Veterans ‘Affairs or the Foreign Affairs.
