‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ to Earn $50 Million On Its Debut?
“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” could become a potential box-office hit because there were some predictions that the sci-fi movie could earn $50 million on its debut.
According to pro.boxoffice.com, the sci-fi movie indeed has a great chance of reaching the lofty opening mark because of its high level of “Definite Interest.” In the said category, “The Scorch Trials” gained a score of 52 percent interest from polled fans. In terms of fan awareness, the sequel film also tallied a high score of 73 percent total awareness and 4 percent unaided awareness. These scores were almost identical to the results of another sci-fi movie, “The Divergent Series: Insurgent,” which gained $285 million in gross revenue.

Meanwhile, “The Scorch Trials” will feature a new adventure for Thomas (Dylan O’Brien), Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) and the rest of the Gladers as they explore a dangerous world after escaping from the large maze. The teenage group will also try to stop the dark plans of the WCKD group while trying to survive in the desolate world.
Another threat for the Gladers is Janson (Aiden Gillen), the main antagonist for the next movie though it remains to be seen how this character will affect the protagonists.

These days the money and personnel that go into creating a movie is scandalous. It is almost unbelievable that every time they don’t come out with anything less than a classic. Luckily this is true in the case of "Ferris Buller’s Day Off", which features some of the best casted actors for a long time and costs in the region of $5.8 million. The main role of Gordie LaChance is played by Wil Wheaton. He is having trouble in his life at this time because he just lost his brother and his parents are having a very difficult time dealing with it. Chris Chambers was played by River Phoenix. Chris is considered a loser because of his family and everybody thinks he will do nothing in life. Through it all, the group of kids looks up to Chris and he is admired by them. The role of Teddy Duchamp is played by Corey Feldman. Teddy has a difficult time in life largely because his father was very mean to him before getting thrown in an insane asylum. The lack of discipline shows in that Teddy has a serious problem staying in control. He is always going crazy and his behavior presents a problem more than once to the group. Vern Tessio is played by Jerry O’Connel. He is the short little fat kid that remains a constant pest throughout the movie. Together the for kids embark on a trip through the woods that will be a challenging adventure for them all. Over the course of the movie the group has problems with individual group members, they have to work as a team, and leadership roles emerge.

Obviously, Societies fall as a result of a corrupt government, Failing Social Structure, and Sickness. It is due to these factors that many great societies such as Greece, Rome, and the society depicted in the book Maze Runner fall.
It made $212m in its second weekend in the US. In my opinion, it's better to see a film without hearing too much about it beforehand. With The Passion I was expecting to be bored for the first hour while seeing Christ preaching to his followers and healing the sick, but Gibson didn't tire us all with that, he filmed it in an interesting way which pleasantly surprised me. In fact, I was very impressed with the opening scenes. Instead of showing us Jesus' life from birth to death, Gibson set the film at the last two days of his life while having the odd flashback to Jesus' earlier days.
All the actors did an astonishing job. Tobin Bell has a loathsome attitude that is right for this character Jigsaw, a creepy serial killer who plays with his victims lives. Furthermore, unlike the novel, the film will start with Elizabeth Hurley (i.e. Mary) getting seduced by this mysterious man and then giving birth to our main character, David. Then the film will progress as it does in the book, but the ending of the film will be the beginning of the novel. The movie would have not much differences from the novel, but I figure that a heated scene in the beginning of the movie will open many eyes immediately,and naturally viewers would be interested to keep their eyes open throughout the film to see what's next.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner is a science fiction novel that includes action and thriller. The novel is about a sixteen year old boy named Thomas who wakes up with no memory from where he came from or who he is or what he was doing there and in a metal cage box surrounded by many teenage boys looking at him weirdly. Throughout the novel there is many science-fiction themes and characteristics displayed such as futuristic technology, alien, robot like creatures environmental and social changes also unrealistic and fictional events.

Kawin remarked “horror itself resists formulation and can be difficult and unpleasant to contemplate.” This year was a phenomenal year for both horror and contemplative movies. Two prime examples: Get Out and mother!. Despite being both horror films with subliminal messaging and allegories, they had drastically different reactions and box office performances. To understand why this happened, it is imperative to analyze marketing, storyline, climate, and audience interpretation.
The novel The Maze Runner by James Dashner begins with a teenage boy waking up in an elevator who has no memory of the past, only that his name is Thomas. When the doors of the elevator open up he is pulled into a humongous square surrounding, called the Glade, by a group of teenage boys. The boys in the Glade refer to themselves as the ‘Gladers’. Thomas learns that the Gladers have lived in there for two years and that the Glade is located in the center of a maze which contains a labyrinth of high walls that move during the night and deadly creatures called grievers. The Glade is led by two boys, Alby and Newt; they both maintain order in the Glade by enforcing strict rules and jobs that keep the Gladers busy. A day after Thomas’ arrival an unknown girl arrives in the Glade. This shocks everyone because the Gladers only receive a new person every month, never within the same week. This also shocks everyone because she was the only girl in a maze full of boys. The girl also gives a message that everything is going to change and that she is the last one ever. Right after her message she immediately falls into a coma. The arrival of the girl causes many things to go chaotic including the sun seizing to rise, the Gladers stop receiving supplies from the creators of the maze, and the doors of the Glade that protect the Gladers from the grievers at night stop closing. When the girl, Teresa wakes up she informs Thomas that they both knew each other in the past and that the maze was a code. Thomas and the people who run around the maze to map out the labyrinth, the runners, look through the archives of the maps and find out the code. I totally agree with this reviewer about this film. exspecially with his words about the audience, " Jurassic World is a suprisingly thrilling blockbuster experience that should leave fans roaring with approval". In reading this review, I still feel as though he didnt express enough. In all reality going back to the first film and explained the main characters enough to where readers who didnt see the movie will want to and look go back to the beginning of the franchise and fall in love with it as I have. As I have below;
