The Reality of Television
Through the years, many of us have watched as celebrity couples have come together and then grown apart before our very eyes. It has become part of the American culture to be informed of what almost every celebrity icon is doing, and who they are with at the moment. Couples that were once said to be invincible proved everybody wrong, and let the pressure of being famous take over their lives.
Though some couples do stay together, most tend to fall under the pressure of the media and break up. Couples such as Kate Winslet and Jim Threapleton, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, and the famous Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are good examples of relationships that have failed as a result of the media. Kate Winslet and Jim Threaoleton said that the pressure of fame split their beautiful relationship. Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise who were known to be the hottest and strongest Hollywood couple proves the whole world enough by announcing their divorce after eleven years of marriage and adopting two children.
Jennifer Lopez is not an unknown name in Hollywood when it comes to relationships. Known as the queen of jumping around from man to man, she has thus proved herself not to be as strong as she appears. From two previously failed marriages before, she has recently broken off her engagement to Ben Affleck. But the one question that still remains in everybody's heads is; "why do these relationships that start out so strong eventually fail?"
One could say that the celebrities aren’t at fault. With the media following a couple’s every move; it would be hard to get a private moment. Another problem that many celebrity couples have is the difference of fame. What? There are celebrities that don’t stay with a ...

The celebrity gossips are indeed the most important news in the modern day society since it benefits the younger generation. For instance, some gossip stories motivate the young to explore the singing or acting talents so as to earn what their favorite celebrities earn. Additionally, popular celebrity gossip blogs provide the best opportunity for marketers to reach out for their target market segments. The senses of humor, as well as the criticisms associated with the readers’ comments often ruin the public image of the concerned celebrities, especially if they are abusive.
In the article “The Other Side of Fame” by Mary Loftus it explains that celebrities suffer from sex, drug abuse and addiction, and explains that certain things that can cause the celebrities to cope on that. Celebrities have their own problems as well by dealing with fans, paparazzis and gold diggers etc. they are the top 10 stressors. Therefore, No one cares for those having great health or even extremely wealthy people, no boundaries such as when it comes about fans or paparazzi. The fan nor the paparazzi has respect/privacy for them which then leads them to stressing out, then cope with addiction for example drugs, alcohol. Being recognized by their appearance might be there most stressful part of being a celebrity. Self vs Image there
The limited popularity of protest music did a complete U-turn in the 1960’s. This reversal was a result both of political events such as the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement, which affected the entire nation, unlike the labor movement protest decade early, which was only really important to industrial workers and factory owners. In addition, music in the

Anywhere you go you see pictures and hear stories about what celebrity did what, and who’s sleeping with who. Its clear to me America is obsessed with celebrities, having to know everything about them and their personal lives. This growing obsession is sick and unhealthy for the average American, it causes our culture to only value the celebrities and look down on the normal everyday person, allowing the average everyday hero to be lost in a sea of celebrity drama. This obsession is causing our kids to grow up and wanna live unrealistic lives, hoping to be just like Miley Ceyris or the next Justin Bibber. Our countries obsession with celebrities has moved from being a healthy hobby; into a stalker obsessive problem.
With a hyped up media in the modern world, celebrity status has become a major cultural phenomena worldwide. Those who have visited grocery stores or newsstands will find magazines that either entices you to peruse them for dating advice or for the gossip in celebrity lives. Who got into an argument in public? Who loves and doesn’t love each other? Who’s getting a divorce? Who’s cheating on whom for whom? This cycle continues every day, every month, every year, and yet people do not tire of this drama unfolding in front of them. And that is because it spurs interest. Many people have different ideas on love, and many others are interested in how love plays out.
A notable example of inappropriate intrusion involved the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, who were killed on August 31 1997 in a high-speed car chase in Paris, France while being chased by the paparazzi. The death brought a lot of criticism to the media and its newsgathering techniques, especially those by the paparazzi. The media’s attention to celebrities has caused a loss of privacy and a skewed view on private and public issues for celebrities. This loss comes from the categorization of celebrities as public figures, meaning their every day lives are subject to an extensive scrutiny unlike an average person. The public thrives on the intrusion into the lives of celebrities because of their obsession with wanting to know every bit of gossip. The paparazzi fulfill this fixation by gathering the information that the public longs to consume.

Since the early to mid 1800’s, music has been the most powerful vehicle of human expression. As the embodiment of love, disapproval, happiness, pain and experience, mainly life, music speaks to us because it comes from us. Everyone in the, paradigm of the human experience instinctively and systematically change the music of the past to represent the realities of the present. In this century, African American music, more specifically Soul music, has been the music that has brought to plain view evidences of our humanities – hope, hurt, joy and passion – in such a way that the world has no other choice than to feel its power and marvel in its brilliance. Although the first true pioneers of music can not be traced, some of the first people to bring the art of music to the for front can.
The celebrity gossip industry has affected our assumptions about entertainment. Usually, we assume that entertainment is just for fun, entertainment is only a reflection of our culture, and entertainment is a personal choice. Nowadays, entertainment is not just for fun. Celebrities entertain us in many ways, but sometimes we do not enjoy what they do yet we still watch them. For instance, many teen idols have had meltdowns. Although it is not fun to...
Many people see the life with fame as a great life, yet, most of the time, it is not as glamorous as it seems. Life choices of many celebrities were not the best. Through the years, these celebrities have been more open about life behind the scenes, but people still think they have a great life. Life with fame is not as what it seems. Life with fame leads to negative paparazzi encounters, haters, and poor personal choices and issues.
When living their day-to-day lives in the public eye, many celebrities must deal with gossip columnists, the infatuation of stalkers, and the unrelenting paparazzi. They follow celebrities into restaurants, their children’s schools, on vacations, and even their residential neighborhoods (Jones). By seeking out and publishing the whereabouts of celebrities, they cannot be sure who will find or come across that information. The paparazzi ...
When it comes to the topic of should the private lives of famous people be off limits to the media, most of us will readily agree that no private life should be entirely off limits. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of how the media always finds their way into the life of the artist. Whereas some are convinced that the media should not interfere into the private lives of the celebrity, others maintain that because even if they make a lot of fans happy, they can always live a life of loneliness. I agree that the private lives of a famous person should be off limits to the media because they might have everything in the world but underneath all that they might be living their life melancholy and loneliness.
