Many people watch television to be informed about what’s going on in the world, for entertainment purposes, to let time go by, and entertainment for children to learn from educated channels. But not many find only television as a source they use the internet when not near a television. Just in the past three decades television has changed. There are interesting things that you may find on television that will educate you and your family. Some alternate activities are parent-child interaction, playing games, playing with toys, allowing the child to explore its environment, looking at pictures, reading books, crafts, and the list goes on. It may take some creativity but a child needs to be stimulated, without being over-stimulated, like a television might do.
So my purpose for bringing television to the appropriate attention is to show you how much television has changed throughout the past three decades. We should try to keep television as safe as we can for those family shows. Those family shows that brought many families together and not separated them.
